Arrival Story:
She was a stray dog who roams outside our street. She was really thin and straggly with almost no hair left. We would call her and start leaving food outside. One day, she came in probably thinking there's more inside! We adopted her around April 2004 and undergone intensive vet treatments like vaccine, medicated bath, iver shots and medicines for 8 straight weeks. We started putting baby t-shirts on her so she'll stop plucking her hair off. She used to wound herself with her skin nibbling because of stress but gradually stopped. Her hair has finally grown back. We were surprised that her hair's kinda shaggy. She's gotten used to wearing t-shirts so she wears one everyday. She wears tank tops during summer.

Bio:
When we got her, we thought that she could have been abused by the other strays. The vet said we didn't just adopt her but probably 8 more! Last Sept'04, she gave birth to 8 cute assorted colored pups who we all found good homes for (adopted by pairs only). We still get news once in a while about the pups. She also has a huge scar on the left side of her face because we found out she was hit on the head when the former "guardians" wanted her lost. The scar was very close to the eye but fortunately she wasn't blinded. Her eye is just sometimes off center.

zit?

i recently got a zit near my eye. actually i am not sure if it is a zit, it looks like one, underground and huge!!! i don't know where it came from but it somehow made my one eye smaller. just as it showed up, it popped! thank goodness, the swell and pain was gone too! they were already talking about a doctor's trip so thank goodness that's over. i used to like going to a doctor but now i know that i am okay, i dread being tinkered on unnecessarily!

you can't do that to me!

My other human sister went out of town and returned home yesterday. She asked one of the other humans at home meet her at the street corner with Mochi. I however, was told to just stay in the kitchen and wait for her there.

THAT CANNOT BE!!! When Mochi goes out, I go out too. She can't get more trips than me! After all, its just at the corner of the street and I am very familiar there. So, when the rest of the humans were looking elsewhere, I made my escape, out of the kitchen, under the gates... voila! they are still standing there! They kept telling me to go back inside but I just pretended not to hear and understand them so they had no choice but to let me tag along with them! hahaha

VAMPY

Sister recently organized Mochi-grrr's t-shirts and she was able to fill a small container. Mine, on the other hand, can be counted because I have fewer than hers. At last count, I destroyed a red tank top, pink t-shirt, a flowered shirt. I don't know why I sometimes get possessed and feel a NEED to tear them apart. Not that I hate them though. Everybody says I am very cute when I wear them.

When I exercise outside the house, I hear kids who walk by telling each other that if ever they were reborn as dogs, they would wear t-shirts too! YEA RIGHT!!

Sister felt bad that I wear ratty shirts so she got me a couple of new ones last week. One is a peach sleeveless and the other pink spaghetti straps. So far, they are still intact and no visible stitching scars yet.

The househelps have given me a new nickname - one i hate but most undoubtedly deserve - VAMPY! as in vampire bec. I keep ripping up my clothes.
