Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 1st 2006
Likes: I like eating cat poo or the Breeze pellets, sniffing everything, and being with Mom and Dad.

Pet-Peeves: I don't like my paws being touched or wet grass.

Favorite Toy: Her pink stuffed PetsMart Bobo Loofa Dog Toy. Sadly though, she ate off the eyes and chewed through the sqeaker. Trying to play with the cat.

Favorite Food: Cat food, Rawhides, bugs

Favorite Walk: Anywhere

Best Tricks: It's not go to bed, or come.. or leave it, or LEAVE THE CAT ALONE!

Arrival Story: She was tied up to a tree on the neighbor's front yard which was absolutely pathetic. There was no food or water and she was left out there to the elements.
We called animal control because we would see her mornings as we pulled out to leave for work, sleeping in the dirt. Eventually they brought her into the garage and kept her in a small crate.
One day we heard barking at the back and there she was tied to the water spigot at the back of the neighbor's house. The same conditions as before but now she had no trees to shade her and she was in direct sun practically all day. To add insult to injury she had an empty water/food bowl which was made out of plastic and chewed up. We guess she was chewing it up and eating it as there was never any food that we saw and the bowl was always in the same state.
The neighbors packed up and moved one day leaving Lady tied to the tree in the front yard, abandoned. At this point she probably would have stayed there, tied to the tree until someone rescued her while she suffered from starvation and thirst.
We rescued her on a Saturday, took her to the vet right away and had her receive her shots and a full check up and here we are now..

We are trying to pin down what breed I am.. I know I am a Beagle probably mixed with a Cocker or possibly a King Charles Spaniel. If anyone can share with me what you think I might be, by all means let me know! - Lady

Today Tropical Storm Faye rolled into town. This is my first tropical storm, but it really isn't that big a deal. I had to go out in the rain a couple times. My mommy posted the pic of me standing up in the backyard - a bird caught my eye. There is a nice breeze blowing and I enjoy it blowing through my hair. A big gust scared me for a moment though. Otherwise, today has been a little boring since I'm stuck inside.

Mom and Dad took me to the dog park today.. this wasn't the blah dog park near home where I don't have much fun. This one had a great big lake and there were hundreds of dogs!
I met with my friend Lexy and these two other dogs.. they were bulldogs. One sounded like a motorcycle engine putt-putting away.
I ventured out into the lake for a quick swim then I overheard someone say something about alligators in the lake and some warning about being eaten. I don't know what an alligator is, but I don't want it eating my drumsticks so I got out of there quick! I smelled like something awful afterward, thankfully mom rinsed me before we left. I hope I get a bath tomorrow though.
