Birthday: August 1st 2006 Arrival Story: Winter is a beautiful, petite, energetic, playful two year old black and white female. Winter has the unusual combination of one blue eye and one parti-colored (half blue and half brown) eye. She was surrendered to animal control in Grand Prairie because she did not get along well with cats. Winter was rescued by Adopt-a-Husky of Dallas the day she was supposed to be euthanized. Winter is small for a Siberian Husky weighing only about 35 pounds. She has a long “rough†coat and near perfect markings. She is not only pretty to look at but has a wonderful disposition and excellent house manners. She is equally comfortable inside or outside and gets along well with other dogs, male or female. She does well with puppies too. Winter is very playful and her antics on hardwood and tile floors will make you smile. She has a very ladylike soprano voice and is talkative when she’s playing with you. Winter loves to play chase and tag. If you want a smaller, gentle, playful dog consider adding Winter to your family. Winter is currently going through heartworm treatment and will needs to be spayed. Otherwise she is a very healthy girl who is house trained and settles in quickly. She gets along as soon as she is comfortable with her surroundings. This a lovely pet looking for a special “fur-ever†home. Bio: If you are interested in adopting Winter, please submit an application through Adopt a Husky of Dallas (http://www.adoptahusky.org). A home check is required through the application process, so if you are outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we will work to arrange a home check but may be unable to do so. Adopt a Husky of Dallas will not ship dogs. I've Been On Dogster Since:
