Mom is Finally Home

It has been a while since I wrote on my journal but a lot has been going on. My mom finally came back from my deployment in time for Thanksgiving...Yay!!!! It is great to have her home and she is giving Rummer and me so much extra love. We love her back and love giving her kisses so she knows how much we missed her. And we did! The minute she got back she was the dog mom we all love, and the first order of business was taking me to the vet...normally a yucky thing but not this time. While she was deployed, my grandma took care of me and did the best she could. But because she is not a normal dog mom, she didn't realize I had a bad ear infection...don't worry grandma, i love you tons... and I was on the verge of losing my right eye because of glaucoma and I had a bad tooth. But with my mom's tender care and patience, I am good as new. It is like having a new battery. I am really spunky. Anyhow, I am good and Rummer is too. My mom bought a new house for us, and we love it! I have a yard and hard wood floors that make me slip all over the place, so she put carpets down. I love my new house. What I like the most is that mom takes us out on walks, which is good because I gained some weight while she was gone. I need to go back to be the svelt dog I was :) We will see...

Mommie Is Gone

Well, my mommie is gone again on a deployment and that sucks. I have been through this before and although I am doing ok, I would be better with her here. My sister Rummer took it really hard the first few days after mom left and she did not want to eat. Good thing that my grandparents baby her. Not me, I am a big dude so I don't need no cuddling...Ok, maybe a little bit. Actually I needed her a lot a few days ago when my grandma and my future dad took me to the vet because I was just not feeling well, and my neck was hurting. But the vet patched me up and I am feeling a lot better now. I think knowing that mommie was worried and called the vet from where she at about five times made me feel loved. Oh, I am getting all warm and fuzzy inside. I just want her to come home! Maybe if I ask Santa...ahhm, not that I believe in Santa or anything like that.
