Aggresion

So mom said that while she took Daisy to training she asked about my aggresion. Mom is concerned about the way I am acting towards Daisy lately.

For example, yesterday mom got home and I was giving her kisses for coming home like I normally do. Daisy tried to move me to get to mom and I attacked. I wanted to let Daisy know who gets mom first and who doesn't. Although mom was yelling at me and trying to get us apart but we wouldn't have it. Mom finally was able to put me in my kennel and Daisy ran to hers.

The tainer said, that I am maturing into my two year old pawself and Daisy has been at our house for a good time and is trying to prove herself in the family too. So put us together and sometimes we don't make a good match.

He suggested our own food bowls, which mom was thinking was going to be necessay soon. He also said to look for cues that I am ready to attack like my ears going flat and my body movement changing and then tell me who is in charge of the pack right then and there so it won't go any further.

Mom is also concerned because at the beginning of November she and dad are taking a trip to Cancun, wherever that is I can't go. She has to give some serious thought about who is going to watch us and keep us in control.

I love Daisy but sometimes I want to be boss. What's wrong about that? although mom is now realizing why they suggest having a female and male in the house versus two females.

Camping Trip

Mom has been talking about this camping thing since I was little. We didn't get to go last summer cuz dad was real busy. But this past weekend we went for a night.

I was so excited I didn't have to be on a leash and there were other furfriends I got to meet and hang out with. Although they didn't want to play they way I wanted to.

I saw the water but chose to not go in. I'm not a water boxer by any means. I ran around the campsite. It was a group site so it was pretty big. I got dirty too cuz it rained almost the whole time we were there.

We got to sleep in the car with mom and dad. I actually slept in the sleeping bag inbetween them. I was nice and warm and comfortable. Although dad woke up a couple of times complaining about his back.

I can't wait to do this camping thing again. :)

Thorn in my Throat

So I swallowed a thorn and it got stuck in my throat. Although mom didn't know til after she took me to the vet. On Thursday Grandma came over to let me and my sister out to go potty cuz mom didn't take us to work. Grandma said mom and dad were going to the state fair. That's when Grandma realized I was coughing really bad and told mom about it.

So mom came home and was worried. I coughed all through the night but nothing came out. Finally when dad woke up to go to work he suggested that I go see the vet. We went in and she couldn't figure it out.

Eventually mom decided that I should be sedated and that way they can make sure nothing was wrong. That's when they found the thorn sticking in my throat.

I'm all better now. Just have some pain medicine to keep me happy and keep the inflamation down. Hopefully I remember to not put thorns in my mouth again.
