The life of Brutus

6 months old

Well I am 6 months old now and housebroken so I do everything outside. Dad Alan has been working with me on hand commands and he really makes it fun for me. I have learned how to stay and sit and even that favorite word that humans use called NO. The only way I know these is because Dad Alan uses sign language. I have also had my first ride in a fire truck and I really like it when dad drives it and we go down the road in parades throwing goodies to the kids. We had done I think almost all the towns around ours. I love going for rides and once we even took mom Sharon with us and I got her all wet with drool. I think I got her hair glasses and her clothes like as if she just got out of the shower. My bio dad Sparky has left us as he got mean and bit mom Sharon on that hand. I really miss him even today and so doesnt dad Alan. Dad Alan said he is glad that I am not like my dad. He says that I am laid back and a kick back kind of guy.

The beginning

I was born to some great parents. Their names were Fairbanks' Little Sparky which was my dad and Fairbanks' Firehouse Madison which was my mom. Mom gave birth to me on February 1oth of 2007. My dad Alan gave me the name Brutus because I was the biggest of 13 puppies. I was born with no spots at all so I looked like a little white mouse. At about 5 days old I stated getting this black things all over me and I really didnt know what was going on. It was scarey. Then when I could see at 2 weeks and I didnt have to smell anymore I really started playing what dad Alan calls the Weeble Wobble Syndrome. I was suppose to go to a different home but dad Alan has kept me because I an deaf. I am really glad he did because he has taught me a lot of things.
