This particular evening it had been storming very loudly all day. I had returned from night class, when I saw this little skinny dog bouncing around outside, wet. She seemed very happy to see me. I had thought perhaps she was my neighbor's dog but as far as I knew they had no dog and were not home. She seemed hungry so Ilether in and fed her. It continued to rain and I wasnot going to let her stay outhere. She was so happy to be inside. She was probably about 18 pounds. I let play withmy dogs, they seemed to like each other, than when it was time for bed she went willlingly into a big crate I had from before. The following day my neighbors said they had seen the dog hagging around for several days. It appeared someone had dropped her off and abandoned her follwing the Hurricane. I took her tot he vet to gether checked out. She had no chip and investigated to see anyone had lost a dog. I put up signs and waited but no one claimed her. I had no intention of taking in another dog. The vet explained she was underweight but healthy. I tried finding her home but no luck. After enough time passed she was mine and I had her spayed as my other tow were already neutered. Time went on and I could no longer give her away she stole my heart. Bio: She is the very best behaved dog I have ever seen. She was very skittish and feared other dogs and people but now she is pretty good around smaller dogs, still skittish around big dogs. She loves people now and is very friendly. Forums Motto: Pretty Girl The Groups I'm In: Multiple Dog Families, The Dog Park! I've Been On Dogster Since:
