Arrival Story:
Well my dad and I are big deal makers/betters. My dad LOVES fishing, and I do not, so we made a deal a while back that if I fished with him 15 times he would get me a small dog. Two years went by and i had gotten 5 fishing trips done. We go camping a lot at this great camp site where my dads friends are and there's a river near it. The whole campsite has a potluck and so we were at it. My dad then went fishing with some friends. So my mom and I were still at the potluck when a friend of ours asked if my dad had gotten us a dog yet, (this same friend had just got a yorkie puppy himself) we siad no and then he said that the person he got his yorkie from was moving away and was giving the mom dog away and the stud male, FREE! so we had him call up the people and they brought Jethro up and when my dad got back and we told him that the dog was ours..........he sort of was in denial. But my dad happily loves Jethro now!

Today my mom was home sick and she and I were watching Ellen when she paused the show and went to the bathroom. She had the door of the bathroom open when I heard a truck pull up. My mom heard the back door (all of the doors were locked) knob being jiggled furiously. It kept going and going and when I went to the bathroom the door had been closed and locked. So I started barking and growling at the strange man who was jiggling the door knob trying to get in telling him to go away. The man soon moved to the front where he lifted the garage door (my family had turned the garage to a rec room and the garage door could only be lifted a few feet) and slid under. I sniffed him and he said hello to me. I could hear my mom crying in the bathroom as she was callng both her parents trying to ask them if they had anyone coming to the house to pick up something, but not one of them picked up. I then heard my mom call from the bathroom: "Who's there?" and the man replied: "Papa!" my mom soon came out of the bathroom still crying and could not stop. It was her grandpa. She was so relieved that it was him and not an intruder. She gave me lots of pets and belly rubs for barking and trying to protect her because I do not bark at all, only when I feel my mom is being threatened.

On this day 7 years ago, America was dramatically changed by the attack to Twin Towers in New York. We will all remember that day and what we were doing. May we bow our heades and pray for those people who 7 years ago, lost a family member or friend.

Today my mom took me to the groomers. She just left me there about an hour ago. My cut will be a puppy cut so that my hair will be short and I will not have to wear a ponytail and look like a girl anymore!!!!!
