Vinnie was my first dog to raise as a Guide Dog Puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. At 18 months old he was released from the Progam and offered to me as a Career Change Pet! He now has a job as a therapy dog.

Vinnie is out of GDB's Maddie and GDB's Drifter born 5-18-00. Vinnie is such a great dog!!

Well, now that Marcella is really learning how to be a Guide Dog- she is in California at the school and it's just mom and I now. No more puppies for a while. Mom said she's leaving for 18 months for a mission for our church... I will miss her alot! I will be 7 in May-- that will make me almost 8 when she gets back!
For now I'm just happy being with my mom... and maybe a few puppy sitting dogs won't hurt-- just to keep me active ;)

Awww... my mom made me dress up the other day and go to a Guide Dog Halloween party! I thought I was past that stuff- That's for my sister, Marcella. Shesh! She went away for 3 weeks and now she's back- I thought she was going for good- but them mom said she was going to stay. I'm happy because that means twice as many bones for Christmas and I get to keep them when she leaves...

Hi Everybody! I'm back! I have had lots of fun Adventures- my mom is home for good now! I love it when she's home (except she's the one who clips my nails! YUK! Why does she have to do that?!) Marcella is getting to be a pretty good partner in crime. We love doing things to get moms attention- Marcella also told me she saw Maryjo! I wish I could have gone- she was one of my favorite sisters (besides the original, Judith, of course!) but I guess she liked being a Guide Dog too much- that stuff's not for me!
I also had my buddy Shasta come visit- she's old- but a good pillow when you need one. My new little human brothers think I'M a good pillow-- I toerate it for a little while- then I figured the best way is to just get up and go to my room.. sheesh- little brothers!
