Nicknames: Finn, Finny, Barky McFinnigan, Finn Finn, Blenheim boy, lil man
Birthday: February 21st 2008
Likes: Attention, chasing the felines, playing with Skye, playing ball with dad. He loved running through the house especially with Will. At 5, he still loves to run through the house, but he does love his bed and laying in that all stretched out.
Pet-Peeves: He likes to taunt Misa the feline. HE HATES HIS SNOOD. He just freezes and refuses to move when we put it on him! Pine straw on the floor. He stands there and barks at it until you pick it up. Items on the kitchen counter, like thawing meat. He has a fit.
Favorite Toy: His "buddy", a stuffed brown and white bear/lion mutant looking thingy that squeaks. He also loves his soccer ball and anything that Skye is playing with. At 5, Buddy is STILL around. He carries it everywhere. And buddy is flithy now.
Favorite Food: Finn is a "finn"icky eater, although it has gotten better..He eats kibble and chicken breast, loves his cookies and loves soft philly pretzels. Also, loves the morsels in the CAT BOX!!!
Favorite Walk: In the back yard. He loves his fenced in back yard. He also loves Waggy World Park in Alpharetta
Best Tricks: Laying down, turning over and showing his belly when I say "Relax"; quietly sidling up to you when you least expect it (I list sidling as a trick because its like he appears out of nowhere)
Arrival Story: We adopted Finn from Brookhaven Cavaliers in Madison, GA. which is run by Brenda Martz and Paula Ayers (sisters). He was one of three Blenheim boys and Finn chose us and our hearts when he came over and sat in between my husbands feet that day! It was a long ride back home and Finn slept on my lap the whole way like he knew he had his forever parents and home! Paula and Brenda are great breeders and raise their pups with alot of love! Thanks to them I have a wonderful pup. Finn is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and a therapy dog with Therapy Dogs, Inc. He is also a titled therapy dog (C-TC) with the CKCSC USA and the AKC (THD).
Bio: Finn's father is CKCSC Ch Pascavale Pancho at Brookhaven - a 2006 champion and a handsome cav!! His grandpa is Eng Ch Pascavale Enchanted (Teddy).
As of November 21,2008 Finn has a new brother! His name is Skye and he is 3 days younger than Finn. Although not blood related, they both are from Brookhaven Cavaliers.
Forums Motto: He's a kissing machine!! & very complex.
hey its that thanksgiving time again. mummy in the kitchen, dont mess the house up, the whole house smells yummers driving me and the lard butt crazy.
my P.i.C. (that there is partner in crime), Willy is coming to spend the night too. he sleeps in our bed and dont give me and the lard butt much room. yeah, mummy and dads sleep in there too but they move way to the edges and we use them as bed bumpers so we dont fall out.
so the thankful piece...(serious now)
i am thankful for my hooman pawrents. they love me and care about me, sometimes too much. but i love them i think more than they realize.
i am thankful for the big old lard butt. yeah. i know. but i love him. he has been with me his entire life except for a tiny time when i was taken to my new home and he stayed behind with miss paula and brenda.but not for long. (you see i am two days older than him). i dont think he would know what to do without me.
i am thankful that i am relatively healthy. yeah, i developed a murmur this year but i aint on no stinkin meds. i have bad allergies to the air and sometimes have a hard time breathing but mummy helps me with a new air filter and she washes my face everyday and helps me try not obsess because i am a bit ocd. i dont have that severe sm like some of my other friends do, but sometimes i do get ocd when the weather changes.
i am thankful i am handsome. yeah, i know supposed to be serious and i am. i am handsome. nuthin you can do about it. i could have been a champion is what everyone sez...even mummy's showdog friends. now the lard butt on the other hand...he's handsome but he's a lard butt.
lastly, i am thankful that there is a rainbow bridge that i know my friends go to when i cant see them any more. but i know one day i will and they will be waiting for me with tail wags and cavalier kisses (and boston terrier sloppy kisses) and we will play and run all day with never getting tired. and i will see and watch over my mummy all the time and never be sleepy. and one day when she comes to the bridge, i will be there waiting for her with tails wags and cavalier kisses.
