Arrival Story:
Pepper followed my husband home one night, when we lived in a small town. She had a collar, but no tags. We spent the next couple of weeks posting signs and looking for her owner(s). While out walking her one day, a lady stopped and said that Pepper was her dog, and that she was a guard dog on their farm, and her name was "dog". Pepper was house trained when we found her, and in no way was capable of guarding anything! I took Pepper home to say goodbye to my husband, and the woman took our information and phone number, as well as Pepper. My husband was working on our car and about 15 minutes later, he heard Pepper panting at him. She had come back to us. The woman never contacted us looking for her, and she has been with us ever since!

Bio:
Pepper got her name becuase when we brought her home, we didn't have any treats to give her. When we looked in the fridge we found some pepperoni slices, and they have been her favorite ever since!

My Mommy and Daddy brought home a new puppy a couple of weeks ago. I love other dogs, don't get me wrong, I am all about new friends,but I don't know about having one live with me. I mean, I already have a human sister, and 3 ferret friends...this place is getting crowded if you ask me. Leela is cute and all, but so am I. I guess she has been fun to have around. Now at least it's two against three when the ferrets come out to play! And I have been getting to go outside alot more...and she get's blamed for everything!! I chewed one of Dad's shoes the other day, and he blamed her. She didn't tell on me.. Guess I could get used to having her around...check out the pictures though..I'm still the cute one!
