Three Leg Fred graduates to Intermediate Agility Class

In addition to his running training, Three Leg Fred has taken up a new sport. Agility! He is doing great and is learning quickly. He can't wait to get into the car to go. He just graduated to Intermediate level. Once he makes it to Advanced, he can then compete!

Fred selected as "Poster Child" for Doggy Amputees!

Our fabulous vet has asked if Three Leg Fred would be their "poster-child" and goodwill ambassador for doggy amputees. They want to use him an example of how well dogs can do after amputation. He got his photos taken and we have offered to talk to any family that is strugglingly with the decision.

We adopted Fred with three legs, but he has learned so many new things and is totally able to do everything he wants. He lives a happy and full three-legged-life. We hit the adoption jackpot!!!

Being a farm dog, paw-dicures were probably not on the menu in his previous farm dog life.

But now that he's not running with horses, huntin' and doing those SUTHERN dog type of things... we had to take him to the groomer to get his nails trimmed. Fred was so good and calm.

World's best groomer gave us a 3 leg discount. Seriously.
