Arrival Story:
When I was younger I really wanted a dog and finally my parents gave in. We found some people selling Golden Retriever puppies online. I chose the one I wanted and my mother drove to Missouri to get her. I got sick the day she waas gone and when I went to the doctor, he told me that I was too sick to play with my puppy when I got home. Of course he was kidding, but I didn't know that so I started to cry. He told me he was just kidding and I felt so much better. My mom told me that she had to stop at three places on the way home because the dog kept thowing up. She was so cute when she got out of the car! She looked like a little teddy bear! Now I realize it is better to adopt a dog than buy one, but I would never trade Ginger for anything!

A Day in the Life of Ginger

I Thought I Could Eat the Whole Thing

On Tuesday, my owner had a friend over and was cooking dinner in the kitchen while I was outside. I was just hanging aroung when I saw something crawling in the bushes. I went over to see what it was and then I grabbed it. I tried to eat it, but it was hard on the outside and it hid inside of the hard thing. Just then my owner came outside and told me to put it down. I dropped it at her feet and went inside. There was a whole lot of hullabulloo for a few minutes while I watched the thing crawl away. I think I remember my owner telling me I shouldn't eat "turtles", whatever those are.
