Arrival Story:
My husband and I were living in Mississippi at the time, when we got our cute little Holly. My sister also lived in Mississippi, and she called me up one day and said her neighbor found a puppy on a old country road but could not keep it. The boy who found it was 17 years old, still lived with parents and of course couldn't keep it because they already had a few dogs. My sister calls me knowing that I work at a veterinary clinic and thought maybe I can take her to the clinic and keep her there until we found her a home or she would have to go to the humane society. I went to my sisters house and as soon as I saw the puppy I feel in love with her. She was white with one big black spot on her back, black ears , and cute face. The whole story was of course she was found on a country road in a bucket and her mom was dead on the road only a few feet away, we have a funny feeling that someone threw them out of a vehicle to get rid of them. Well, she has changed our lives she is such a loving dog, and very playful. She also loves to give kisses all the time and she likes to cuddle. Of course being part cattle dog she does like to boss my other dogs around once in awhile and she can be protective at times. All in all we love her and I am so glad that I have her.
