The Bellagio Hotel for Pets

Last weekend we went to this place were my human had entered my sister and I in an Animal Idol Contest. Neither of us won, but we got to see the first place prize. It was a one week stay at this Hotel for Pets, called the America Dog Cat Hotel. They say it's The Bellagio for Pets. We got to take a tour through it. They had big screen TV's in every room, playing animal movies, like Lady and the Tramp, etc. Some of the rooms had windows in them, they were the rooms with a view. They had bid daybeds with big fluffy pillows to sleep on and big oriental rugs in the rooms. There was a big big play area with balls and ropes and other dogs to play with and a human in the play room to throw the balls for all the dogs. They had humans to take each dog out for their daily walks too. The food was served on a silver platter. It was for the pampered pooch. But like I said, we didn't win the contest. We did win one of the raffles, so we got new bowls and a new leash, and new toys to play with, so that was fun. And we made a bunch of new doggie friends there too.

The Dog Whisperer Strikes Again

I really got the hang of the new controlled walk my human has been teaching me, after watching the Dog Whisperer DVD's, she learned a lot of new tricks. I kinda of like it too. She's the one in control and we have a nice pleasant walk together.

Here we go again.............

When my human Mom came home from work tonight, she did it again. Tried to walk me instead of me walking her. I didn't give her as much trouble this time, I guess if you can't beat em, join em. She's really persistent about it, this Dog Whisperer guy, Cesar Millan taught her too well how to control me.

I sense a change coming on......................

My human Mom, who recently heard about Cesar Millan, aka, The Dog Whisperer, just bought his books, Cesar's Way and Be The Pack Leader, and also his DVD's of his TV series on the National Geograhic Channel. So we go for a walk tonight, right, and all of a sudden, SHE is walking ME!!!!! Like who does she think she is anyway. I usually walk HER!!!!! I am a Siberian Husky, it's in my genes to lead, I pull the sleds, I lead the way!!! I don't think I'm going to like this new change coming on. Who does this Cesar guy think he is anyway, if I came face to face with him, boy or boy, would I give him a piece of my mind!!!!
