Likes:
She loved her family. Especially my sister Linda and me, and also our Dad. He carried her everywhere. We never took a trip without Tiny. She loved Florida.

Favorite Food:
For a snack, Tiny loved little crackers called "People Crackers." They're no longer made, but they were like animal crackers, but in the shape of people!

Favorite Walk:
She loved playing in the yard with my sister and me whenever we'd be out there ... for as long as we'd be out there!

Best Tricks:
It's not a "trick," but my sister had Rheumatic Fever as a child & had to spend most of her childhood confined to bed. Tiny would lay there with her for hours, calm & quiet. But when it was time to go outside with me, she got really playful! She knew!

Arrival Story:
Born in 1954, my family already had Tiny (our precious little Chihuahua) when I was born in 1956, so she is the first pet I can ever remember. The most special memory I have of Tiny is when I was around three or four years old and would ride my tricycle up and down the sidewalk in front of our home. Sweet little Tiny would follow me up and down the pavement, no matter how long I rode.

Bio:
Tiny died of cancer in 1962, continuing to be her loveable, affectionate self right up to the end. She started a life-long love of Chis for me and my sister Linda that continues to this day. She's been at the Rainbow Bridge for a long time now, but each time we have lost a subsequent pet, we know that Tiny was there to meet them.

Forums Motto:
So much love in such a small package!

Anyone Need a Guardian Angel?

Hello to all who find their way to my page!

My name is Tiny, and I have been at the Rainbow Bridge for (probably) longer than most any dog on Dogster. I have lived here since 1962.

I don't dwell on the end very much. I remember hurting and feeling lots of pain, and my Daddy & Mommy taking me to the vet-doc. I heard the words "tumors" and "cancer," but they didn't mean anything to me because my pain was bad. I only remember closing my eyes to sleep and awakening to find myself in the most beautiful place I'd ever seen! It was right here at the Rainbow Bridge!

At first I was very sad because I knew I would miss my girls, Linda & Nancy. But that sadness only lasted a few minutes. I was so touched at how my girls cried for me. And my heart has been blessed many, many times over the years because every once in awhile something will remind them of me and they'll talk about me. I've even seen tears in their eyes ... all these years later.

Having been raised with a wonderful work ethic (my Daddy was a strong, wonderful man who worked hard for his family ... I was a real Daddy's Girl!), I was given a job shortly after my arrival here at the Bridge. We all have little jobs to do here. Some are on the Welcoming Commitee, some are tour guides for new arrivals. Me? I am proud to say that I was made one of the chief Guardian Angels for those who are still earthbound. I have taken my job very seriously from day one ... but until recently, I had no way of letting anyone down there know about how I can watch over them! I was there in their life, but did KNOW about me?! Then came the internet and Dogster! And now, dogs can know that they have Guardian Angels, too!

A Guardian Angel watches over you and protects you from getting in harms way whenever and wherever possible. Now dogs are just like people, and none of us live forever. Sometimes, it's just our time to move on. But when that happens, then your Guardian Angel comes right there to you and escorts you here to the Bridge. And when that happens, you are happier than you ever imagined!

I think I have the BEST job of all! And I would really LOVE to be YOUR Guardian Angel! I can watch over you, protect you and be there for you when you need me the most. I have a special button here on my page, and if you would like for me to be YOUR Guardian Angel, just take the button for your page. Then don't forget to send me a Paw-Mail and let me know that you've added the little button! That way, I'll see it and know who I am watching over!

I love you all, and from time-to-time I will get on here and write a little to you. But mostly, I'll be busy watching over you and keeping you safe always.

Chi Huggles,
Tiny

(Right click on my button, and save it to your computer for downloading onto your Dogster page. It looks nice on the left-hand column ... look over at mine and you'll see it right there at the top of my special graphics!)
