Arrival Story:
Our 4-person family debated and debated about getting an American Bulldog, like our mom's dad's dog, Bandit. My parents said it would be great to have a puppy around, and it could teach us responsibility. So, we all signed a 'Puppy Contract' saying we would all help to take care of him/her. Then, we went online to www.dunnbrokus.com to find our new friend. We looked at all the newborn pups, and decided that Roxy was the most perfect one. She had an all black nose, black lining on her lips and eyes, and had the cutest face! We called and reserved her. Then, when she was 2 months old, she was put on a plane and delivered to Michigan, where we lived. I had to go to school that day, so my dad stayed home from work to wait and go pick her up. When he got home, he set up a small area in the kitchen for Roxy's cage and temporary house. He put newspaper and everything. When he finally opened the cage door, poor Roxy was too afraid to come out! When she did poke her head out, the first thing she saw was my dad's pants, so she grabbed them, and tried pulling his leg back in the cage! When I got home, I was glad to finally have a puppy to call my own.

I've been visiting grandma for the past few days, and my real owners keep coming back after mommy picks them up from school. Grandma is nice and warm. :) I love it here. I get taken out for walks every day and I get to meet new doggies. It is really fun here.
