Been awhile...

Hi ya pups and peeps!! It's been awhile since I've been on Dogster. Hope all my favorite pals are doing well!

Pawty time!!!

Today is mommy's bridal shower...and I'm invited! woohoo!!

Mommy's getting ready to give me a bath and trim my nails for the big day! Normally I would HATE this, but today I don't mind because the pawrents keep saying "Ava do you wanna go to a party?" Ummm YES!!!!

I will be wearing a pink and white striped dress as well. I know, I know.. I will look beautiful!!!! :)

Freedom!

Last weekend, me & the pawrents went to the beach and my mom's family was down at the same time too. The pawrents went to beach on Sunday and while they were out sunbathing and swimming in the ocean, I was stuck at the great-grandpawrent's (mom's grandparents) condo. It was their job to keep an eye on me.

Boy did I have fun!! Somehow, 10 minutes after the pawrents went to the beach... I escaped!

Their condo. was on the first floor of the building and I made my way out of the condo. front door, down the steps, out the building door, across the street, and then started walking towards the condo. where the pawrents were staying! ps- way to leave me guys!!

My aunt was on the balcony at the great-grandpawrents and looked down and saw me strolling down the sidewalk having a good old time! Needless to say, she FREAKED OUT...started screaming for people to stop me & came running after me! She scooped me up before I could have some fun!

Of course the pawrents were completely dramatic... mom wouldn't stop crying...daddy was mad at the whole condo. of people who somehow did not see me leave/weren't watching me-- it was a mess! I was just trying to have a leisurely stroll and then look for the pawrents :)

(mom taking over now)-- I know that Ava has a guardian angel and we are SO lucky nothing happened to her. I will NEVER, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever leave her in the care of irresponsible baby-sitters again.

(Ava here)-- We're going back to the beach this weekend (woohoo!!) but I'll be safe and sound in my playpen when they go out! Or... we will just go to the dog beach so I'm not left by myself!! :)

MOVING!!

Hi pups! Sorry I haven't barked lately... I miss you guys!!!

I'm getting ready to move tomorrow! woohoo!! I'll be supervising the pawrents while they do all the heavy lifting tomorrow- HA! :)

We'll have much more room in our new townhouse vs. the apartment we're living in now!! Plus I'll have a backyard again!! yay!!

Photo Shoot

Hi ya pups!!

I know it's been SO long since I've written in my diary and I apologize. Blame my Mommy! Her and Daddy have been busy with work and wedding plans... blah blah blah (same old excuse).

But guess what?! On Saturday, I'll be a dog model! Mommy and Daddy are having an engagement photo session with the photographer who's photographing their wedding in October and I'm going to be in the pictures!! Woohooo!!

We're going to take pictures at historic landmarks in Baltimore and walk to a nearby park for more pictures! It's supposed to be really warm and beautiful in Baltimore on Saturday, so keep your fingers crossed that the pictures turn out to be pawesome!!

Mommy PROMISES she'll post some professional pictures of yours truly when we get the pictures back in a few weeks! :)

2 blizzards in one week!!

Wow pups! It's been crazy down here in Baltimore. Over the weekend, we had 30 inches of snow! 3-0!! That's A LOT for Baltimore!! And yesterday into today we had close to 20 more inches!! WOW!!

But the plus side of all this crazy snow is having the pawrents home from work and cuddling with me :)

Chocolate for New Years!!

Last night, the pawrents walked up to the local restaurant by our apartment for dinner & NYE drinks. I was left home alone for just 2 hours...

But don't feel sorry for me! I had a BLAST! The pawrents left me in my playpen and forgot to lock the door... score! So I let myself out...checked out the presents under the tree...and found me some CHOCOLATE! The chocolate bar was split into 3rds and I ate 1/3 and saved the other 2/3rds for the pawrents! (did I get a thank you for saving the rest?! of course not!)

I then let myself back in my playpen and took a nap. The pawrents came home later and were happy to see me! And I was so happy to see them! But then they realized the door was open...and then they found the chocolate bar on the ground....

Mom OF COURSE overreacted and started crying and saying nonsense like I needed to go to the emergency vet ASAP. Dad did some research and concluded that I would be just fine because of the small amount I had. Maybe some icky poo is all...

But lemme tell you pups.. I am FINE! And chocolate is DELICIOUS!! My poo last night AND this morning was a little larger than normal but solid. I feel fine. I'm acting fine. I'm fine I tell you!!! RELAX MOM!! BOL!!
