Her encloseure was marked urgent because she was scheduled to be put down on the 23rd. She had been abandoned in a rental house by her previous owners and had developed some bad behaviors and was ill and emaciated. I went home and could not get her out of my mind... so my then husband took my daughter to the pound and adopted her as a Christmas present for me. The pound wanted to keep her until the 27th since she had to be spayed, but I begged for them to spay her so she could be brought home for Christmas. She was spayed on Christmas Eve and spent her first Christmas with me recovering... and she has been my big baby ever since. Bio: When I first me Toby she weighted 30lbs and was 10 months old... a year later was a BIG 90 lb. girl. Her problems with food come from her being abandoned and left without food for over a week. She has also survived 3 cases of cancer, two knee surgies and a multitude of other illnesses and injuries including sitting on a nail. Since she has been a vet regular and has cost me a bunch of bucks, I lovingly refer to her as my million dollar dog. Every penny spent has been well worth it because she is the most loving dog and never deserved to be in the pound! Forums Motto: Is it time for dinner? I've Been On Dogster Since:
