Pet-Peeves: Garbage men, having his tail messed with, cleaning his ears, and ignoring him while you eat..he will growl and bark, and you better listen!!

Favorite Toy: Tennis ball, socks, rawhides, anything you can play tug of war with!

Favorite Food: Human food ;)..... He eats Purina One Senior,. though :)

Favorite Walk: In our neighborhood, park or on the college campus

Best Tricks: Sit, Stay, Lay down, kiss, open the gate, shake(knows difference between right and left when shaking), takes milkbones out of my mouth WITHOUT eating my face off, high five, and fetching

Arrival Story: In April of 1996, he was dumped off by his original owners. That was obvious because he had a collar mark and had a great disposition and already knew how to sit and shake, it's like he was pre-packaged. We kept an eye on him for a few days before we decided we wanted him. When we got a closer look, he had two gunshot wounds, one in the neck and one in the back. He was taken to the vet for shots, antibiotics etc and is all better! My mom told my dad my brother and I wanted him and that he was ours now. The rest is history!

Bio: Joe was euthanized on April 28th 2008...he had an abdominal mass that was most likely in his spleen. It was slow bleeding and his red blood cell count was getting lower by the day....surgery was not an option, considering his age (15 or 16 years) so he went to the Rainbow bridge instead so he didn't have to get worse and suffer. He spent 12 wonderful years with us. We love you!!
