Gizmo loves playing with his brother Jake. He loves going for walks, but we have to be careful in the heat, as dog with shorter snouts overheat more easily. Of course, he loves getting treats and getting loved on.
Pet-Peeves:
Well, he doesn't like it when I wipe his dirty little face! Or eye drops, but he's a good boy so he let's me do it.
Favorite Toy:
Any toy he's playing with at the time!
Favorite Food:
Gizmo's on a raw diet. He gets one chicken leg per day except for one day per week he gets a combo of liver, gizzards and hearts mixed with some veggies. Sounds gross, but he loves it!

Arrival Story:
I was on my way home from work and saw Gizmo in some bushes. I stopped the car and went up to him. He was covered in mats, he had terrible dredlocks, one even between his little eyes!! Also, I saw he was un-neutered and had no collar. I brought him inside and introduced him to the other two pups and the three kitties. I gave him a bath, fed him, etc. I took him to work w/me (dog daycare that has a groomer...I still work in a dog daycare, just a different one now), had him shaved down, then took him to the vet to have him scanned for a micro-chip. I had already looked online for anyone missing a Shih Tzu and looked for signs. I'd hate for someone to have lost this guy, but he obviously hadn't been cared for in a long time. He was very underweight. Anyway, no one was looking for him and my husband and I were in love, so we got him his shots and got him neutered and Gizmo has been an excellent addition to our family!
