Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a small dog when a friend told me a mother and her four pups had been dumped at the pound. So I rushed right over (skipping work) and these tiny black and white puppies greeted us at the door. They had wriggled out of the pen and were running all over! Missy was the one with the exact half black/white tail. It was love at first site! I wish I could have taken them all, but one is my limit. I did call friends who adopted the others. That was almost six years ago and we have been together ever since!
Bio:
Missy is mostly a mutt. (But don't tell HER that!) She knows the order of things in our house and tries to keep the kids in line. She plays very nice with my ferret, Boo. Missy loves to scoop Boo up with her nose and toss her onto her side. Boo runs into her tube and Missy runs from end to end waiting for Boo to come out, then it's a race around the family room until they both are pooped. Finally it's nap time and Missy will curl up at my feet and Boo snuggles into a lap blanket on the chair.
