Arrival Story:
I was looking for a smart dog that had some spunk to her. After doing some research a decided to purchase a Mini Schnauzer. My wife and I went to view a litter of pups . I did not see a pup I liked at first. Most of them were playing with the breeder or cowering behind her. Sophie walks up to me and I kneeled down to play with her. She licked me under my chin and that was it. She came home with us a few days later.
Bio:
Sophie has added such a joy to our lives. I was reluctant to get a dog when I purchased her from the breeder. Now our lives are so busy thats its hard to find time to stop and smell the poops. We are in agility training with two wonderdul teachers. Sophie has also bonded more with her Mom now that I work an odd shift. Sophie has come a long way in her progress. I know that my little dog has the all the courage of a super hero. She can leap tall jumps in a single bound, walk the dog walk at a dead run, hop like a jack rabbit chasing her Whubba. Most of all she has the courage to tackle anything witht the exception of the robot at the automatic car wash. Sophie has a huge heart and she shows it when she loves on ya!

Sophie had a great day today. She is focusing more on me when we are on the agility course. She is starting to learn the no sniff command when she goes to ground. Sophie is now capable of focusing on me at home on our course when another dog is around. She has a very beautiful jump arc as the teacher says. I am very proud of her progress. With my super little dog anything is possible.

Sophie has come along way in the last few weeks. When we first started the Begginner obedience class I was worried. She has a real probelm with alarm barking. Thanks to the people at MOTC our lives are getting better!

Sophie sang to her Mom today as she departed our home. The howling lasted 20 minutes as I sang with her. Sophie has been a wonderful dog lately. She now runs two miles a day the treadmill.
