Likes: I love to play outside! I also like to cuddle with my Mom and play with my Grandpa. As long as I am with my family I'm pretty happy. Riding in the car, going for walks, and shopping are really cool too.
Pet-Peeves: The thing I hate most is having my feet touched. I am a very picky dog. I don't like baths or being brushed. Loud noises aren't fun and sometimes I get scared of what Mom calls silly things, like the lamp in the front room and plastic bags.
Favorite Toy: I love to play with any kind of ball. Mom also gets me plush toys, which I love, but destroy very easily.
Favorite Food: I eat pretty much anything. Science Diet, Greenies, carrots, apples, chicken, but I think I like rabbit poop the best.
Favorite Walk: Walks are great! I don't care where I go for a walk just as long as I'm on one.
Best Tricks: Tricks are coming along slowly. Mom says I'm to bull headed to learn anything, but we keep trying.
Arrival Story: My dog of 15 years passed away last November. I was crushed. I grewp up with Samantha and I missed having a dog by my side. My mom got me Thomas for Christmas! The best gift ever!
I had quite a night last night. I was feeling a little better so I decided to explore the house to see if anything had changed while I was sick. I walked into the bathroom and this strange thing I had never seen before was sitting by the toilet! I got a little freaked out and started barking at it. When Mom found me she laughed at me! Apparently the thing I was barking at was a "plunger" and the humans aren't scared of it at all. I'm not sure what it is used for but it looks like an evil thing to me.
Mom kicked me out of the bathroom and when she walked out into the front room she saw me staring at one of the lamps. Now, normally I wouldn't be doing that because those lamps scare me more than that plunger( I got caught in a cord when I was really little and brought one of those lamps crashing to the ground. That is why they freak me out), but there was something buzzing around it! Mom said it was a fly. Whatever it was amazed me. I spent better part of an hour chasing that thing around the front room. It disappeared not to long after that which made me sad because I wanted to play with it more!
Last night was the worst pee night I have had since on steroids. Mom couldn't keep up with me! I think she got a little mad at me last night because both times I went I had just come in from outside. She has been leaving me out there longer than usual because of my problem and I get so caught up in playing that I don't go to the bathroom. I'm only nine months old! What does she expect?! Mom told me last night that she will be glad when I'm done with the steroids and I have to agree with her. Taking that stuff is no fun. I'm catching on that when she gives me the pills she hides them in food. Can you believe that? Screwing up perfectly good food with yucky pills. Last night she put one in a banana and I spit it out. I think it might have been in the peanut butter she gave me next because she really wanted me to eat it. I'm a sucker for peanut butter so of course I ate it right away. Mom sure is sneaky!
I'm on steroids because of my allergies and they make me go to the bathroom more than usual. The first two nights I had accidents in the house. Mom has been nice about it though because she knows I can't help it. She is proud of me because I try to make it to the back door but I just can't hold it and I pee everywhere. Last night Mom decided to prevent an accident and got us both out of bed at 3:00 in the morning! I made it out of our room but I didn't get outside. By the time Mom realized I wasn't behind her I had gone to the bathroom in the living room. I was afraid I was in trouble and I ran away but Mom told me not to worry and let me outside. I think she was a little annoyed though because she doesn't want me going to the bathroom in the house. I just can't help it! I will be glad when these steroids are done.
