Arrival Story:
Sula is the youngest and newest. She came home with me while my husband was working on the North Slope (with 3 at home, I figured better to beg forgiveness than ask permission) and my best friend out of town. Good timing, huh? :-) I had mentioned adopting another but hub said no more dogs... but, I said, Annie needs a playmate her own age! Su was the quietest dog in the shelter, skinny, funny-looking (I thought) and according to her scanty intake notes, there for the 2nd time. Her first family brought her back for chasing cats.
Bio:
Imagine that... a dog chasing cats. Made me mad! In any case, she caused quite a bit of controversy at home by eating (destroying!) a $400 fur hat and an $1100 computer, in addition to the minor housebreaking and puppy chewing incidents. Let's not mention whose idea it was to bring this dog home, ok? LOL! At any rate, 2 months later she is firmly ensconced in the pack and a beloved family member.

woohoo! I got loose yesterday; my cable was stuck under the garage door and mom needed both hands, so I took my chance to RUN!! I really have my people fooled, since I 'come' so nicely when I'm on my cable. But I know the difference, and they can't catch ME! Mom says a bear will eat me, but she doesn't know how fast I really am. She even called me 'bear bait' when I came home. Doesn't she know what wonderful smells I can find in our neighborhood?
