Halloween...

This time of year always means silly outfits for me.
Yep, I'm dressed up like a banana split...and I don't like my banana hat! Waaaaaahhhhhh!

I have a prostate infection

I woke up this morning screaming in pain and wouldn't let anyone touch me or pick me up...I wouldn't even eat a treat! After a few minutes, mom could tell it was my tummy area that was hurting me so she took me straight to the vet. After a thorough exam, an enema (YUCK!), and a urinalysis, the vet came to the conclusion that I have a prostate infection. They gave me an antibiotic and pain med to take and I seem to be feeling a little better already. I should be back to my old self in a few days but I still have to go back in 3 weeks for another urinalysis to make sure all the infection is gone. UGH! What a morning! BOL!

Lots and lots of SNOW!

We got between 2-3 inches of snow today! That's a lot for us here in middle Georgia! Mom opened the back door to take pictures of it and I went zooming right out onto the deck into the snow. I had lots of fun digging and playing in it. It will all melt tomorrow though :o( Mom took a video of it snowing...if you watch it all the way to the end you'll see me. I do a little jump for the finale! Hehe!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my pals! Wishing you all a healthy, happy, and safe holiday!

T’was the night of Thanksgiving,
But I just couldn’t sleep.
I tried counting backwards,
I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned,
The dark meat and white.
But I fought the temptation,
With all of my might.
Tossing and turning,
with anticipation.
The thought of a snack
became infatuation.
So I raced to the kitchen,
Flung open the door,
And gazed at the fridge,
Full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey,
And buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots,
Beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling,
So plump and so round.
‘til all of a sudden,
I rose off the ground.
I crashed through the ceiling,
Floating into the sky,
With a mouthful of pudding,
And a handful of pie.
But I managed to yell
As I soared past the trees
Happy eating to all,
Pass the cranberries, please!!
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious,
May your pies take the prize
And May your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs!

I love llamas

Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation hosted a doggie fall festival at the Tractor Supply Store today. There was food and games. I got to meet a mini horse and llamas! I was fascinated with the llamas, but I don't think they wanted to play with me. The Rescue had dogs for adoption there. Some of them were from the St. George puppy mill raid. I had a professional mini photo shoot too! I was scared so I had to sit in mom's lap for the pictures. Mom gets to see the proofs on Monday...I hope I didn't blink! Oh, um...and I peed on mom's foot while she was talking to someone. ooopssss! BOL!

My 2nd Woofday

I can't believe I'm 2 years old now! I had a pawsome woofday yesterday! Sunday night and last night I got a special dinner of grilled chicken and corn and a little bit of baked potato followed by a slice of my birthday cake!
I got a cool shirt that says "Birthday Boy" on it, a little blue blanket with my name embroidered on it, some new yummy treats, and a few new toys. My great pal KiKi sent me a pawsome card, Gators bandana, santa hat, and the bestest ball that I still can't stop playing with!
I had lots of playtime and extra snuggles with mom and dad.
I want to thank all my wonderful pals who sent me birthday wishes! You all are the best and made my woofday extra-special! Thank you for celebrating with me!

My vacation

I had so much fun in Jekyll Island! I LOVED running in the sand on the beach and chasing the foam from the waves. There were little crabs that would pop in and out of their holes in the sand and I would try to catch them. I saw lots of birds and barked at all of them. I walked around with mom and dad to all the little shops and we went out on the pier. I liked our condo too! It had lots of new smells so I had to investigate for a few hours when we got there.

Oh and on Thursday when me and mom and dad were walking back from the beach we took a wrong turn and instead of ending up on the boardwalk, we had to walk through lots of plants and trees. Me and mom ended up stepping in a cactus patch!! I jumped and squealed but was ok once mom pulled all the ouchies out.

I had a great time but I am so happy to be back home!
