I am on a kibble rotation with EVO, Orijen, and Nature's Variety Instinct. The Nature's Variety is my favorite kibble, but I would much rather have some cheese or chicken!
Favorite Walk:
I love to walk around PetSmart and smell all the wonderful smells!

Arrival Story:
I was born in Cloudland, Georgia on August 31, 2007 to a backyard breeder. My mom was a chocolate Min Pin named Tootsie and my dad was a blue Min Pin named Rebel. The breeder put me up for sale online and that's where my furever mom and dad found me. Mom didn't know the evils of bad backyard breeders yet and my little picture in the for sale ad stole her heart. They made the 4 hour trip to come get me on October 29, 2007. Mom hates the fact that she supported the business of a bad breeder selling sick pups, but she believes that she found me for a reason and wouldn't change it for the world! I needed a home with pawrents who would be willing to take care me through all my struggles and I have found that perfect family!
Bio:
Mom took me to the vet the day after I came home and I was diagnosed with a horrible case of pnuemonia and worms. The vet said I would not make it. Mommy refused to believe that and together we fought the pnuemonia. All was well until June 2008, when I was diagnosed with Legg-Calve Perthes Disease. The ball joint in my hip had deteriorated and I had to have surgery to remove it. While in recovery from that, I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a neuromuscular disease. Again, the vet said I probably wouldn't make it...but so far I have proved them wrong again! I also have another neurological disease which the vets have been unable to diagnose thus far. I have good days and bad days with these disorders and will probably be on steroids and other meds for the rest of my life to keep them under control. Through all of this I never lost my good spirit or gave up and my mommy and daddy will never give up fighting for me either! _________________________________ Update as of 12-3-08
I am on higher dose of prednisone and doing very well. The dose will slowly be brought down and hopefully I can stay strong! And on 12-28-08 I asked my beautiful and sweet crush Pixie to be my girlfriend at the MPMM holiday party and she said yes! I love you Pixie!

Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation hosted a doggie fall festival at the Tractor Supply Store today. There was food and games. I got to meet a mini horse and llamas! I was fascinated with the llamas, but I don't think they wanted to play with me. The Rescue had dogs for adoption there. Some of them were from the St. George puppy mill raid. I had a professional mini photo shoot too! I was scared so I had to sit in mom's lap for the pictures. Mom gets to see the proofs on Monday...I hope I didn't blink! Oh, um...and I peed on mom's foot while she was talking to someone. ooopssss! BOL!

I can't believe I'm 2 years old now! I had a pawsome woofday yesterday! Sunday night and last night I got a special dinner of grilled chicken and corn and a little bit of baked potato followed by a slice of my birthday cake!
I got a cool shirt that says "Birthday Boy" on it, a little blue blanket with my name embroidered on it, some new yummy treats, and a few new toys. My great pal KiKi sent me a pawsome card, Gators bandana, santa hat, and the bestest ball that I still can't stop playing with!
I had lots of playtime and extra snuggles with mom and dad.
I want to thank all my wonderful pals who sent me birthday wishes! You all are the best and made my woofday extra-special! Thank you for celebrating with me!

I had so much fun in Jekyll Island! I LOVED running in the sand on the beach and chasing the foam from the waves. There were little crabs that would pop in and out of their holes in the sand and I would try to catch them. I saw lots of birds and barked at all of them. I walked around with mom and dad to all the little shops and we went out on the pier. I liked our condo too! It had lots of new smells so I had to investigate for a few hours when we got there.
Oh and on Thursday when me and mom and dad were walking back from the beach we took a wrong turn and instead of ending up on the boardwalk, we had to walk through lots of plants and trees. Me and mom ended up stepping in a cactus patch!! I jumped and squealed but was ok once mom pulled all the ouchies out.
I had a great time but I am so happy to be back home!
