Arrival Story:
Baxter also is my "nephew dog" and belongs to my sister's family. They found him on Petfinder one day when they were trying to help another friend find a dog. They fell in love with his picutre, and contacted the rescue. It turns out that they were a mere 5 miles away, so it was fate!

Bio:
Baxter was born on a farm in rural Ohio. His original owner had lots and lots of dogs... she rescued them.. but never managed to spay or neuter any of them. So, she soon had even more dogs in the form of puppies. She coudln't afford to feed them, so they scavenged to survive. Poor Baxter's tummy was in bad shape for a long time, but he's a lot better now!
