Favorite Toy: A yellow tennis ball Favorite Food: Anything you give her. Favorite Walk: She loves the beach. I took her and she ran ahead of me and ran back. She played in the water and sand and loved it. Best Tricks: Jumping and coming down on the one hind leg and not falling, sitting up and balancing herself, set a treat on her nose and she wont eat it until you say OK and then she will flip it up in the air and catch it. Our Shawna Mae came to us to save her from being sent to the Bridge. She had been hit by a car and drug to the point her hind leg was barely hanging on. The Driver stopped, got out and looked at her, got back in his car and drove off. Her leg was severed and was hanging by a small piece of skin. By the time she was found and taken to the Vet she had almost bled to death. The Vet saved her but couldn't save her leg. Three days after she was hit, she was home. Two days later she was up and trying to run on three legs. She fell a few times but she kept trying and it wasn't long she was running and playing like she had three legs all her life. Her parents couldn't stand to look at her so they got a large kennel and this is where this little girl stayed. She got out to go potty and run and back she went. She cried and got so depressed that her parents decided to put her down. I couldn't stand the thought of this beautiful little girl going to the Bridge, I took her. This little girl went through so much pain and was so near death but fought her way back and learned to adjust to only three legs and to be thrown away. This is one remarkable little Angel. The most loving, gentle, compassionate little girl I have ever had the pleasure of coming into my life. She now has a forever home out in the country to run and be alive. No more kennels for this little one. When her new mommy, daddy and furless brother come back from their vacation, she will go home with them. I wanted to share this amaizing creature with all of you. Enjoy her. She has touched our hearts and no matter if she is no longer with us and is in her new home, she will forever remain in our hearts. Forums Motto: Throw The Ball Please
Hello all furs that live in Oregon. This year we are going to have a Dogster Pup Meet. We are shooting for Sept 17th. We now have a Dog Park opened so we have a safe place for all your precious furs. We would love to have all thoes who live in Oregon...or any State for that matter... that would love to come to please pmail us and let us know your interest in having one. It would be wonderful to meet in the fur. There will be drawings and gifts for the ones attending. Lots of pictures and a video will be taken and posted on Dogster. I live in California but I am going to have a sit down strike until my daddy agrees to bring me.
Please plan to bring a picture of your Bridge Angel as we will have a memorial table to honor them.

I use to be Shawna Mae but my new mommy and daddy decided to give me a new name as well as a new life. I found out that I am a Pit Bull/Walker Hound but we can't find that mix in all the breeds listed here. But at least now I know what I am and am so proud of it. I had a lot of work to get where I am now after loosing my leg. The people that was suppose to get me changed their minds. My mommy at the time has a furless son that fell in love with me and insisted on taking me. It was love at first sight for him and his family as well as me. If you watch my video, you can see how well I get around. I will keep my page here as I get to come visit all the furkids here. I don't want to leave here. I have many friends. I do hope you enjoy my video.
