Arrival Story:
Copper will be 7 years old come this October, but somehow I still think of him as my big puppy! Originally, when he was just a few weeks old, my parents gave him to my brother as a Christmas gift, and I got his sister, Sweetie. A few months later, we let both of them out of their cage to play outside. My brother and I went inside for a minute, and when we came back out, Sweetie was gone. We drove all around the neighborhood searching for her, through the fields, forests and backroads. She was nowhere to be found. I hope to this day that she was dognapped by someone who wanted a dog but couldn't afford one and is still being taken care of and loved. After that, my brother said that we could share ownership of Copper. And now, Copper has captured our whole family's hearts! I will love him forever!
