I am a tub of ICE CREAM!!

My friend Julia is taking me to the Howlaween Parade at Mom's work on Saturday. She made me the greatest costume... I am a tub of Edy's vanilla ice cream!!! I have a waffle cone for my head and they are gonna drizzle brown hair spray on my topknot for the "hot fudge".
Mom said Julia really came up with a GREAT IDEA!!! Problem was that the ice cream container was too small for my body. It's okay, Mom realized she could scan it and print it larger on some heavy paper and make an ice cream tub that would fit me!! While they were making that they decided I really shouldn't use a real waffle cone cuz the other dogs might try to eat me, so they made one of those, too.
Mom is going to take photos so maybe she will put some on MY page!!!
Gotta go now, Susie and I are reading in bed!

My BEACH trip!!!!

Wow, I sure do love the beach!!! At first I was scared of the waves but after Susie walked me out into them I realized they were just water and water is FUN!
It was soo much fun and I even got to go without my leash. Well, most of the time I did, but I had a little problem once and lost Mom and Susie and Toto and Beanie.
There was a nice lady walking way up by the sea wall so I raced up to visit her. Well, she patted me, and then I heard Mom call me but it was bouncing off the sea wall so I raced off to where I thought it was coming from. I ran and ran and ran and NO ONE was there! Finally, Susie was racing after me and Mom called me really loudly and I realized they were down by the ocean and I ran right back to them. Whew, I thought they were going to leave me at the beach!!!!
Mom said I needed to stay on my leash so no one would steal me. Unlike Beanie, I LOVE to visit strangers and Mom said I don't know about Stranger Danger. I do now!
Anyway, finally we went back to the car and drove over to Jenny's Mom's store. I was supposed to get a pink jacket like Toto and Beanie's but they were too big for me so I ended up getting a really nice pink fleece one. We were sitting outside visiting with Jenny and Piper and TWO people came up and saw my jacket and went in and bought one for their dogs. So, now Jenny's Mom said she will put MY photo on her webpage, too. Cool!
I must have walked about 60 or 70 miles today. Mom and Susie said I went at least twice as far as they did cuz I kept circling around them, BOL. I slept all the way home AND, I am still sleeping.
Mom is walking a bit stiffly, too, so I don't feel so bad!
Mom said I could go with them when they go again cuz I was very good. Neat, huh???

I'm going to the BEACH!!!

Holy Moly... Mom and Susie were just talking and it turns out they BOTH have tomorrow off. So, they checked the weather report and decided that they would go to the beach!!! And, me and Toto and Beanie are going with them...YES!!!
I have NEVER been to the beach before, hope I like it!
Right now me and Susie are headed off to bed and Mom is getting some stuff together like the cameras and our leashes...hey... we don't need no stinkin' leashes!!!!!
I can't wait!
Mom said Jenny and Piper can't go with us, but we will stop in and visit them, that's for sure!!!
I will have LOTS of beach photos, I hope!!!

An exciting Howlaween party day!!!

Wow, what a fun day I had at Susie's work! When we got there she dressed me up with my pumpkin dress. She put all the jewels in my ears AFTER she sprayed that black hair spray all over them.
My job for the whole day was to greet the campers when they came up to the office. I was VERY good at that, believe me!
Later in the afternoon, Susie dressed me up in my witch costume and I wore that for a while. But, it was getting pretty cold, and it even rained!! I was shivering and shaking.
Susie remembered Mom put my lobster costume in my backpack, so she put that on me cuz it was MUCH warmer.
Suddenly, Susie remembered part of the skit was pretending to toss me into the boiling cauldron so they all decided it was even BETTER if I was a lobster instead of a witch, BOL!! It would look pretty funny if the witches threw a witch in the pot!!
Soo, Susie and the others got their costumes on, it stopped raining, and we all did our witches skit. It was a HUGE hit, especially the part about tossing ME into the cauldron, BOL!
When I got home it was late and I was sooo tired that Mom said she would bathe the black dye out of my hair this morning instead.
So, I went over to work and she gave me a nice bath and... surprise, it all came out and I am completely white again!!!~ Mom was very happy cuz now she knows she can use that halloween hair spray on us white dogs and then wash it out! It comes right out with Dawn for shampoo. Whew!
Now I am resting up, BOL!

My costume(s)

Well, sure enough, Mom dug all thru the costume bags and found me something to wear. She got my pumpkin dress, she added some orange jeweled ties for my ears and painted my nails orange, too.
What is even more amazing is what else she did! She and Tonya found a can of BLACK spray for hair in the costume bag. They discussed it for a while, then Mom tried some on my tail and a bit later Tonya bathed me and, IT ALL CAME RIGHT OUT!
So, Mom said I could have black ears and a black tail. Well, she got me all groomed and painted my nails and then she got some towels and wrapped me up in them and just left my ears and tail out. She sprayed that black stuff all over them.
She put on my pumpkin dress costume and added the hair jewels and, I must admit, it looked really NEAT! She let me wear it all day to make sure it was going to be nice and comfy for tomorrow all day at work. It was!
Later this afternoon Mom went and got me to help her do some work at her desk. Well, that black stuff had rubbed ALL over my face and neck and my butt and looked AWFUL! So, Mom tossed me into the tub again and washed it all out. BUT... after sitting in my ears all day long it did not ALL wash out, BOL! So, now I have gray ears and a gray tail. Mom even used some bleaching shampoo and it didn't help one bit. I guess I am going to have gray ears for the next seven months, sigh. Problem is, it looks DIRTY!
Back to the costumes. For my witches outfit, I have a nice store bought dress and hat. Mom added some jeweled hair ribbons for that, too. She had some for bracelets but she is afraid they might be too tight and Susie might not notice. So, I guess it is hair jewels only.
And, dirty, gray ears and tail, BOL!

My BIG weekend is coming right up!!!

Saturday I am going to TWO Howlaween parties!! First I am going to work with Susie and we have to wear a costume for working cuz there is a Howlaween parade.
And, Saturday night there is a BIG Howlaween party and I am going to that, too! Susie and some friends are doing a witchy skit and I am going to be a witch in the skit, too. Mom got me a cute witches costume and it even matches Susies.
But, we do not know what I am wearing for the daytime. Susie is borrowing a pink poodle outfit from Mom that they used at a dog show years ago, and I was supposed to wear the pink poodle skirt and sweater that was from that dog show, BUT... it was for a Frenchie that weighed 29 lbs and I only weigh five pounds!!!
Mom says that is gonna take some work to fit to me so she talked with Susie and she said I could wear whatever I wanted! Tomorrow I am going to work with Mom and go thru the costume bag and hopefully, I will find something really great to wear. I think there is a contest, too, so I want to make sure Susie and I win the contest!
Mom was going to make my ears bright red to go with my witches costume but she is afraid it won't wash out like what happened last year on St Patrick's day when I ended up with urine colored ears for almost 6 months. UGLY!
Mom says she will tell Susie to take some photos for my page. Hopefully she will remember to take them, BOL! Maybe Mom will decide to go watch the skit???

Kayaking...

Mom decided that me and Georgie could go kayaking with her and Julia and Sarah today even though we had just been spayed four days ago. She said we would be sitting in the kayak, not running around and as long as we didn't fall in there would be no problem.
Soo, we got to go to the little private pond and man oh man, the Fall colors were beautiful!!!! Mom said they would have been even better last weekend, but it poured rain all weekend.
We spent a few hours up there enjoying the ride. The only wildlife we saw was a big flock of some kind of ducks. Because they were flying we couldn't tell what they were.
When we got home I was outside with everyone and my stitches started itching.
When I came back in I decided to give them a little lick or two. Finally, Mom yelled at me and checked them out. Just like Crystal, I had untied THREE of them, bol! Sadly, mine weren't quite as healed as Crystals so Mom is making ME wear a pee belt around my belly.
I didn't like it so I wouldn't even walk with it on... Susie had to carry me into the bed room.
Mom says in a couple of days she will take out the last stitch and I will be all better again. I sure hope so!

I survived...

Well, I survived my spay today. BUT, I sure do have a belly ache right now!
Mom picked us up at 5:30 and when we got home we went outside to peepee. Would you believe I was dizzy and almost fell right off the porch??? Yup, it happened to ME!
Then, Mom put us in our crates and started getting dinner for everyone. Man, I just SMELLED it, and I had to puke. My Mom is a good Mom so she took me into her bedroom and let me sleep in there.
I am snoozing now, and she said I will fell better in the morning. Hope so!

I'm getting spayed????

Mom has decided I am getting too old to have anymore babies. She says I have two boys and two girls already and that is plenty. So, now that NONE of us are in heat, she is sending me and Georgie and Cryssie up to the vets tomorrow to be spayed.
I think Susie would be soo worried about me, well, she would IF she knew I was going there anyway. But, she has her day off tomorrow so she went to her real home and she doesn't know I am going to be operated on. She won't be home until Wednesday night and by then, I will be all cured already. At least I HOPE I will be all cured already!!
Mom said us three girls can all sleep on the futon in her room tomorrow night so she can keep an eye on us. She said we will all be tired and drugged anyway, so we should be nice and comfy on the futon, BUT, she said the boys will all stay in their crates so they don't bug us.
HEY, Julia is taking me to a Howlaween parade that Mom's work is putting on. Today she was telling her Mom about the costume I will be wearing. I will give you a hint...it involves us having to eat a WHOLE GALLON TUB of Edie's vanilla ice cream before the parade.
Mom said, don't worry, she will take TONS of photos of us all!

Canoeing AND an overnight!!!

Wow, I am sooo pupular I got invited on a canoe trip AND an overnight both in the same day!!!
Mom let me and Georgie and Beanie go with her and Julia in the canoe... she said Beanie could go cuz he was Beanie, I could go cuz I was quiet and well behaved and Georgie could go cuz she was experienced. I think my reason was the bestest complement, don't you???
Anyway, it was okay, but first I was really hot from the broiling sun, then I was soaking wet cuz of the pouring rain, then I was cold because I was soaking wet! Mom and Julia, of course, insisted on taking our photos, not too good since I obviously was not looking my best!!!
But, all in all, we did have fun AND Julia asked Mom if I could go to her house and spend the night! Of course Mom said yes, and then her Mom said yes, so she came down here and picked up me and Julia. Would you believe Mom let her take my pink stroller so Julia can take me out for a ride around the block! Bet I will get LOTS of positive attention, huh?
Poor Susie will have to sleep alone tonight UNLESS she decides to let Tanner sleep with her. She won't let Georgie cuz she is toooo wild and tomboyish!!!
I will let you know what Julia and I do tonight when I write more tomorrow!
