Well, Julia and I did have some great fun at the Howlaween event yesterday. I didn't have to put on my "tub" until JUST before it was time because it was difficult for me to walk. Mom watched for a bit and discovered it was hurting my belly from rubbing so she trimmed it down lots and that helped.
Soo, when I went into the ring I walked pretty good the second time. The first time I was still getting used to that thing on me, BOL!
Mom was very happy we won Most Original since it was all Julia's idea to make. Mom just helped cuz she had the equipment to use.
It was a fun day... I had both Julia AND Susie over there waiting on me hand and foot. Speaking of foot, I hardly had to ever step on the floor cuz one or the other of them was usually carrying me. And, we had some pretty good dog biscuits and chocolate chip cookies!!
Then there was this morning... I awoke expecting a nice, warm Fall day, maybe a nice playful trip down to the lab pen followed by some sleep time whilst Mom planted some bulbs in the garden.
Imagine my surprise when I went outside and found over 12 inches of SNOW!! In some places where the grass was it was about 18 to 20 inches deep. Imagine that??? It is way, way to early for snow!!
Mom took us down into the lab pen but she forgot to close the gate behind us. I discovered that instantly and headed back to the warmer, dry porch where I waited until those silly snow likers came back into the house. It was awful...Riley brushed against me and got me all covered with slush from his snowballs he brought into the house. Nasty stuff, I went back to bed with Susie!!!!

Momma says she is going to "borrow" that idea next year - BOL, BOL She also said something about enjoying the ice cream before the tub is empty and since she always shares with me I'm excited too!!! Congratulations on having the most originals costume. You looked so pretty. Congrats on winning most original!
