Tonight I was looking back at some of my older photos. Mom has certainly done a decent job of portraying me as a prima dona, me thinks! In truth, that is pretty far from the reality of my life here.
When it behooves me to be dainty and delicate I can play the role. However, when no one is watching, I can get down and dirty with the best of them!
This week has been a great example. Just check the last few photos I have posted on MY page. In one I am absolutely covered with MUD. MUD, you say??? How could that happen??? Well, Mom came home at noon and let us all outside. It has been raining here for forty days and forty nights at least. The ground is quite saturated and if you stomp around on it, nice, slimy MUD will rise to the surface.
I have an old diary entry way back there somewhere about stomping in the mud. I detail how much I LOVE to have warm, soupy mud sliding thru my toes and how fun it is squishing around in it. Besides, people (as in humans), use mud as a facial, I believe??
Anyway, in addition to my mud bathing I have also started chasing the others down in the lab pen. I can't believe how much fun it is to race around that pen, cutting the others off at the corners and even pretending that I may bite them if I come close enough. It really gets your adreneline rushing thru your system.
You will also see one new photo where Mom claims that Barney knocked me down and I remained on the ground while the others gathered around. Mom insinuated that I was lying there, bruised and battered and hoping the others weren't going to attack as well.
Here's the real story... I found the GREATEST HUGE dead nightcrawler right there and I was rolling on it!!!
Sorry Mom, but you told me to NEVER TELL A LIE!!!
