Geez, Mom tricked me on Christmas day!!! She got her jacket and boots on and asked us if we wanted to go out. We all got excited and ran out the door with her. Instead of going out the front door to the car, she took us out the side door to the Labrador yard. Well Toto, Jenny and Beanie raced right out without looking. Not me, I stepped up to the door and the snow was higher than the doorstep!!! It must have been almost three feet deep. Even Mom thought about it before she stepped out into it. Well, they all, including Mom, jumped over the deepest part and went along down to the yard. I guess they forgot me, and I saw them running around down there. Actually, it kind of looked like they were having fun, so finally I walked along the wall and found a place where the snow wasn't so deep. After I got thru there, I followed their path down to where they were. Ya know, it really WAS fun!! There were a few places where it was really deep, and I wondered if I had lost my mind, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. Poor Beanie got so tired he almost couldn't make it home. I went ahead and saw that it wasn't too far, so I encouraged him. You can even see in the photo that he is rolling his eyes back in desperation... the whites of his eyes are showing. Now we are all sleeping! I am sleeping with baby Tyson, but so far, he can't wake me up to bug me!
