Cute story! My son bought himself a Shih Tzu Puppy and when I saw her I went head over heals for the breed. I went home and started to read up about the breed on the internet. One night I went into town to the neighbor hood pet store to get some more info on the breed and low and behold they had three Shih Tzus in the window. So you know the end of the story, I went home with a puppy instead of a book. What a Happy Day. I now have 6 Shih Tzus

A reference book for a Puppy

A little over six years ago my son Peter got himself a little Shih Tzu puppy. We happend to all be meeting in New York for a family wedding and he brought the Puppy with him to my other son Marks house . Well when I got there from California for this family wedding and saw Peter's new puppy I went head over heals for that little girl. The Shih Tzu has to be the cutest puppy going. I decided at the very monent that when I got back to California that I was going to get me a Shih Tzu puppy. Oh my God too cute.

On my return I went on the Computer and started doing research about the breed. I like to know all the important things about the breed so I can prepare for the new arrival.

I decided to go to the local Pet Shop and buy a book on Shih Tzu's. Of course when I got there, there were two little puppies in the window. Two little male furry face Shih Tzus. I went crazy. I spoke with the Pet Shop owner and she only brings in puppies from the local breeders and I actually got to meet the breeders.

Well long story short I never did get the book. I came home with Monty. The cutest little thing you ever saw. I have been hooked ever since.
