Arrival Story:
Jason and I were married in April of 2000 and moving into our first home in May. The Friday before we moved, Jason asks if I wanted to look at some puppies for sale. I said yes but we are not adopting any because we just moved into a new house and need to get settled. We get to the breeders house, he introduces us to the litter. There are 3 or 4 brindle boxers wrestling each other, 2 fawns eating quietly, and another fawn puppy resting quietly off to the side. Jason is in awe of the brindles and desperately wants to get one of those. Me never having been around dogs before was immediately drawn to the quieter ones. I went up to the resting fawn and picked him up. He licked my nose and layed his head on my chest. Needless to say, I was smitten. Since he was only 4 weeks old, we had to leave him with the breeder for 3 more weeks. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

Bio:
I have never had dogs (or any pets) prior to being Oscar's mommy. He has stolen my heart with his sweet nature. He has also made a dog lover out of my mother who swore she would never let a dog in her house. Now he has a saved place on her couch and in her heart!
