Arrival Story: my daddy wanted a sheltie so he got me and how lucky he is that i have been around for a very long time. he loves me very much. he's my bestest friend. he named me teetee and it's suppose to mean small but i fooled him and got really large!.
Bio: My dad takes me to California in the winter because he is a snowbird, that's what i hear what they call it anyway, i really don't think he looks like a bird though. in the spring he goes to stay on a farm in North Dakota and can't take me because there too many ticks and i have really thick hair so he either drives me to Washington to his daughter's home, sometimes he flies me up there. I stay there from April till he comes out west and goes fishing on the coast in july for a month or two sometimes he takes me and there and sometimes i stay with ...well i guess she is my sister if we have the same dad. (i think i'm the favorite, because i have so much hair and it is so pretty and he gives me hotdogs) . i am suppose to be a little tiny dog but i am a huge lady. my dad feeds me really well but sometimes i can get so big i can hardly walk and when i get to her house i can up to 68 pounds! then she makes me go on a diet because she doesn't like to help pick me up so i get up the 3 stairs to th ehouse without falling down, she has had me down to 37 pounds last year! i was light as air, should have been a model i think. she has two little rug rat papillons that bark alot, sometimes i join in but mostly they anoy me and i just ignore them. although there is only one now because one passed away ( i kind of miss her though). i try to let them know when i get there that i am the boss and they'd better behave around me or else. they never played with me but once in awhile in the morning they would come and kiss me good morning! yuck! what nerve of them.
i get to go camping with them in the summer and that is fun. i am getting older now and have a lot of arthritis and i think i get my way more now. life has been good to me and i'm a happy doggie!
Update, September 2005:
I am going to stay with her now for good because my daddy (88 years old) is also getting up there and can't always take care of me. This is his last trip south, he is going to miss me so much and me him.
there are two new rug rats here now and boy oh boy they are really pesty. they are Russian Toy Terriers and they are a lot worse than Papillons. They bother me all the time, geesh!
Tee has gone to Rainbow Bridge now, Sept 26, 2006 at the age of 15.5 yrs old. Hardest thing i've had to do.
May you rest in peace Teetee, you were the most faithful dog my dad ever had and i'm glad i got to spend your last 2 years with besides every spring and summer. I love you Teetee.
