Dakota's new start

yay friends!!

So it's been a long time since i've made an entry but it's because theres been so much going on, all my friends got adopted. But then i got a new friend. he's one of my friends on dogster, so that's even more pawsome. His name is Aries, and we are the bestest of friends! we play together and sleep together, and he's just the best. we share our food and today we got out of the house cuz our auntie Yanna didn't close the door all the way. we went to visit the neighbor dogs and went down the road a bit but then my mom and aries mom, my auntie Joslyn, called us and we figured we'd better high tail it home. then we went in the back yard and ran all over it. then we came in, and took a nap. then we had a snack of pizza crust;D and played some more. then we had our dinner. then played some more and now we're just relaxing. it's nice to have a new friend. that isn't leaving! ok I'm done... ~ D out!

Baths...

Today it is rainy, wet and muddy here in our home town or temperance MI. and i wqas enjoying my muddy playground of a back yard just fine when my mom calls me in. I was soooo excited i was gonna jump on things and leave my pawprints everywhere and get mud on the leather sofa!! this was gonna be great, but as i ran throught he door mom said come on D, i need a shower, darn, i always acompany mom into the bathroom while she takes a shower, she feels more secure with me there, when we're home alone, so i went and i layed down, and when she finished and got dressed i was happy to be freed from the bathroom only she didn't free me she turned the shower back on and looked at me and said, " Oh Mr. Man you are filthy, you need a shower too." I gulped i hate baths i like my muddy dirty smelly coat. it makes me feel good, but it was too late and i'm too good of a dog cuz before i knew it i was in the tub, and getting sprayed off w/the shower head. sao i waited and stood for the longest 10 min of my life while mom scrubbed me and suddsed, me up... is that a word, suddsed?? oh well any ways she rinsed me of squeezed the water outta my fur dried me real good, and we played peek-a-boo with the towel then i played tug with it, and mom turned me loose i ran all over the house and rubbed any excess wate on whatever i coud and i shook, really good a few times, then went to the door... ;D and of course cuz she knows i wont stay clean forever, mom let me out!! and i went and layed in the dirt olong side the house under the eaves, while mom said something about my dog house being slightly cleaner but i stopped listening to her. now i'm in for a bit outta the cold and decided to tell everyone about my day so far. ok i'm gonna go lay on moms bed now that i'm good and dirty again!! bye guys!!! Making new friends

I basically live in a house where new dogs come and go avery few weeks to every few months. They are rescue dogs like myself so we have some things in comon and usually we get along great. but they are adoptable dogs so they don't stay long. i get sad when my new friends are gone but i of course am always happy for them to find a great new home like i did. Now as i said before i usually get along great with these new dogs but there's one here who's new and i'm not really sure if i like him. he looks like and old friend of mine named Kalvin but he's a little more forceful than Kal was. i mis him very much you see he went to a new and wounderful home but got very sick from a pancreatic disease and he died. i truely miss him soo much he used to come back to visit me. nut any ways this new guy Wiley is always trying to steal my friend Delilah, and he's always in my face then he gets snappy so i snap back but then mom and her friends yell at us both so we stop and lay down. mom says i have to be patient cuz he's a young assuie cattle dog or blue healer and that he's a hearding dog, plus, he's my siz and age which makes him a puppy and that means he'll be a little nippy. But i don't like other dogs in my face, and he's always there. but mom says i'd better make friends with him cuz he'll be here after delilah finds a new home and then he'll be the only one i have to play with. but nobody has come to adopt her yet so she's still my friend. though mom is right i do have to be noce to him and i am trying. he's really a nice dog he just needs someone to tell him about bubbles, and how he shouldn't pop them. soo please Wiley stay outta my bouble!! then we can be best friends. well that's all for now!
