Arrival Story:
I was going to the shelter to get a cat one fateful day and on a whim my boyfriend and I saw an ad in the newspaper for rottie puppies-We called that day and went to pick her up the next!! Her daddy was a champion in Canada and her mom-well she had enough litters in her time. Daisy got her mother's sweetness and her dad's looks! Daisy was just 6 weeks old and a mere 10 pounds!!! Daisy and I have been through so much together. She has had food issues, ACL surgery, and chemotherapy. She remains the most steadfast friend and loyal companion. There will never be another like her.

Bio:
Daisy was diagnosed with lymphoma in July 2005. She underwent 6 months of chemo and is still in remission. Her vet is completely amazed at her strength and youthfulness to this day. Daisy was given just one year to live then and she has lived 3 more! She will be 10 in March and we are going to have one heck of a doggie b-day party for her!!

Hi, everyone keep your paws crossed for my mom-she is looking at
a small house for rent with a large fenced in backyard. It would be so good for my legs not to have to go up 3 flights of steps to our apartment! Not to mention my little boy would have a yard to play in!
Oh, to feel clean green grass under my paws again!!!

Hi! I had a wonderful surprise today! My friend Manuela came over
for my thursday afternoon walk and my mom came home from work!
We took a nice walk to Panera bread for lunch. I got a cup of ice cubes to slobber over and the bacon slices from my mom's sandwich!
yummy! yummy!! I liked greeting people as they entered and exited
the restaurant. Some folks stopped to pet me and I got to smell
what they had in their bag for lunch!! My mom said we are going to go there more often because a lot of business men are there for lunch!! If there is some bacon in the deal for me -I'm in!!


3 year anniversary!!

Hello all!! Today I celebrated my 3rd anniversary of being cancer free
since my diagnosis with lymphoma! I went for a ride in the car-
that was just cleaned too! My mom stopped at McDonald's and got some lunch and I got to eat all of the french fries!! We had a picnic
at the park before going to the dog park. I swam in the river, made some new dog buddies, and got a nice walk too! I got really dirty at the park so we stopped at the groomers for a bath. I had a visit
with my vet -I am her poster dog for other doggies and kitties
that get the same diagnosis. She shares my story and I gave her lots of kisses for it. I just had my dinner and after a stroll I am in for a nice LONG nap....after all I am a ol' girl! What a day of loving and time with my mom!!! Goodnight!!!
