Arrival Story:
Our 12 year old Golden Retriever Brandy was diagnosed with lung cancer in May of 2003. We had to put her to sleep because she was suffering(it was the worst days of our lives, we could hear her struggling to breathe). We were schedualed to on a Monday. We had no intention of getting another dog. The friday before we were on the street where the pet shop was and decided to go play with the cats(they never have dogs)just for fun and to get our mind off of Brandy. Well, as fate would have it, there was a golden IDENTICAL to Brandy when she was a puppy there. It was a female which was a must, identical to Brandy, and it was also the same age Brandy was when we got her. We thought it was fate so we bought her and we love her so much. Brandy was a huge part of our family and we are still getting over the loss of her. But Gracie brings joy to our lives everyday and we are very thankful to have found her.
