well it's starting to look like a road trip around here...suit cases pulled out, mom muttering about clothes and weather, and what to pack... turns out mom needs knee surgery but can't get it where we live - too long a wait list, so we're going 90 miles away so she can get it earlier - just hope this means she's back to walking us soon, and throws away that cane thing, it makes us nervous.
anyhow we're going a couple days beforehand for some R&R as dad calls it, or B&B as I calls it - no not bed and breakfast - bark and bark !! staying in a pet friendly motel, and mom says B&B is a no no there - not sure I can contain myself but we'll see...
Bark at ya later...gotta go pack my stuff..

well here we are in 2013 and thank goodness the kids are back to school. I had nuttin' much to bark at over the Christmas holidays when they weren't walking past my windows, but it's all good again now.
They pretend they don't see me but I bet they can hear me !! I have to run back and forth between the front windows and the kitchen to see if breakfast is served yet, then I have to gobble it down fast so I can get back to work.
Weekends? well I don't even want to think about that - I have to bark at the neighbors for 2 days just to keep in practice...
Take care every fur.... BOL BOL

Some months ago the pawrents bought a futon that makes into a bed. It's for the occasional overnight guests, cause the room it's in doubles as computer room/office and mom didn't want to have a bed permanently set up.
I really like this futon, it's comfortable and it usually has a blanket on it that I can dig into, and I can also see out the window and bark incognito at anyone who is passing by. Now that I've discovered it I spend a lot of time on it. Mom is now calling me Futon Face, the way I burrow down and never want to get off !
So we had an overnight guest recently, and we asked her what she thought of it. She said it was ok for a couple of nights, but no good for long term. Yes! that's just what the pawrents wanted to hear, hehe, good for short visits, not long visits!
Well, the overnight guest might not have thought much of it, and I am happy about that, cause I'm calling it mine! Mine! Mine!
