She had been found roaming the streets in a rural town in Lousiana. The shelter believed she had heartworms. I didn't care what was "wrong" with her, I knew I wanted to take her in and give her the best life possible. After driving 2 hours to pick her up from the shelter, we took her to our trusted Vet and discovered that she did not have heart worms and that she was a very healthy dog.
