Where's Texas?

Mom came home today and said we are taking a long trip to Texas and we will be living there, where is Texas?

First there was a day Mom called the fourth of July...loud noises all night. I did not like that at all...but at least Mom was home an extra day with me.

Then this weekend we had all kinds of wind and rain.

Yesterday we had company and mom was showing them my food and stuff, she also showed them the cats stuff. I wonder what is going on? she has a black bag packed with her comfortable clothes. She keeps telling me I have to be good while she is gone....gone? Hey she cannot leave me, we have never been apart. I know Iwill be taken care of by grandpa but she can't leave me. She says its only four days.......but it will seem like four years....I don't want her to go without me. She telling me it is cold up north and I would freeae. Hey remember I do have a coat! Mom let me go also. She says no I can't go on the plane. (What's a plane?) (is it bigger than her car?)

Holidays are over....

Everyone has gone home and mom is now on track with training me or so she thinks. I know what I am suppose to do but I some times make it hard on her and ignor what she is saying. It was better when the house was full of people. (I got away with a lot because I am still a baby) I miss all the people to play with.

Mom says I am growing up (I will be 5 months on 1/24/05) and must now learn and follow house rules.

I went to the Vet (He is nice and sits on the floor and plays) well maybe not so nice he gave me 2 shots. But I was good and just gave hime my sad eyes and he gave me a treat. He was happy that I am already 38 pounds and 20 inches high.

He put my picture on his wall......I think that means he likes me!

Mom says it is time to do more training so I must go...look again soon I will keep you updated on the training thing (Ugh!),

It hurts

Mom bought me the best little jacket, of it is too big right now. But give me two months or less and it will fit.

Then she took me to a place with lots of dogs and cats and I couldnot play with them, and then I went to sleep. When I woke up I hurt. they had cut me! (Mom says it is better that I am fixed.) I am home now but this big thing is around my neck and I can't play as much. (It is funny looking.)

The Start

About 2 - 1/2 weeks ago I went to a new home. It had 3 cats and no other dogs living there full time. I thought I was in heaven.

I mostly slept the first week, the second week I became a little steadier on my feet.

I am now 9 weeks old and weight 12 lbs. I can chase the cats and sometimes (when they let me) catch them.

Mom has started giving me baths, she said I smelled! UHG!

I love sleeping with mom at night (I also like to chew on her toes).

Last week mom had some other dogs over. She said I had to play nice, Starr is getting old and does not like to play as much.

Patches is still fun to play with. But Grandpa came home and mom said they had to go back home, boy, do I miss them.
