Every October Mom takes a two week vacation to play with me. This year she and Dad brought home that cat from Dad's race car shop. It is in my little room with baby gates to keep me out. This has ruined my zoomie path. I can't run through the whole house any longer. The cat won't come out either. I tried to introduce myself and we touched noses. But this cat is very aloof and doesn't seem to want to play. She just eats and sleeps. I don't mind having a cat for a sister if she would come out and play.
Dr. Creese told me to give her time to get adjusted being inside. She didn't tell me how to be patient.
Mom and I have been doing lots of fun stuff. Everyday we go for a ride and do shopping. Last night we had cake and ice cream for Mom's birthday. Even the cat had ice cream. She said she had never had this stuff and she liked it very much.
My next update will be after we take a trip to the O'fallon dog park. Mom's friend Wendy hopes to join us with her Peebs!
We Peebs can really unite then.
Until next time... Chance, the dog with a cat sister!

This past weekend, mom took me to the Apple Festival parade.
We got there early and walked up and down the sidewalk selling my tee shirts.
There were lots of distractions but I stayed right next to mom and heeled perfectly.
We stopped and saw Grandma & Grandpa and rested for awhile. It was getting hot so mom took me home.
Mom applied for my AKC registration today. My friend Wendy who breeds Peebs in O'Fallon is certifying me. My teacher Behesha, thinks after a couple more classes I may be ready for RALLY competition.
Mom is so excited.

Mom and Dad took me on my first camping trip. We went to the DuQuoin State Fair campgrounds where my Godparents Jim and Linda were camping.
I met longtime friends of mom and dad's, Pat and Tracy. Pat told me he has my Christmas picture on his fridge at home and was very happy to finally met me. He tried being a tough guy but it didn't take me long to steal his heart.
I had the best time hiding one of my toys in the mud. Nobody was watching what I was actually doing until I came out covered in mud.
This lead to my first time for swimming. What FUN!
Jimmy cooked out some of the best stuff a dog could ever taste and of course I was sneaking lots of bites.
On Monday I slept all day trying to re-coop from Sunday's activities.
