she loved to play with her litter mate sister, just be at her side all time. she loved to greet me when i got home from work and she loved chasing squirrels in the yard.
Me leaving for work, or sister trying to hog all the food.
She played with no toys only her sister Soxie Sue.
carrots, meat and treats like peanut butter!
Any where at all. Always was one step behind me and her sister was way in front.
sit, down, dance with her sister on their two hind feet, roll over.
My grandson was about 5 and was so afraid of dogs for reasons unknown to us and I just moved from a condo to a house and it was time to get a dog again. I took my grandson to a dog show and told him to pick out a dog he wouldn't be so afraid of and he saw a pen with about 10 Papillons and said "gramma, will they always stay puppies?" and I said "yes" and he said "then that's what I want you to get". So from there it was a search for the Papillons, first I fenced in the yard and had a dog door put in. Found the breeder Association for the State of Washington and searched till I found her...on the other side of the mountains. But as it turned out I got a packaged deal... her little litter mate sister, Soxie Sue came home with us also. They were very attached and they almost gave her to me so she could go with her sister because she was soooooo shy. and seemed to like us (my nieces were with me). They loved each other so much that wouldn't even play with any toys or any other dog, ever. She passed away September 10th, 2004.
These two dogs have been such an unbelievable joy in my life. Cassie loved to go for car rides and walks and camping. They both are very well behaved dogs. They love to sit in a cat purch in the living room window to guard the property of all squirrels and other big monsters! They were so oposite of each other and yet unseparateable. They both slept with me and they were always together all the time. Cassie was my loyal cuddly one, who would put her head on my shoulder under my chin when I would ever I told her to give me a hug-a-bug. She slept in my arms in the beginning of the night, while her sister slept on the pillow next to my head, Cassie would join her after giving me about 15 to 20 minutes of cuddling. If I was gardening I could always look and find Cassie watching me within a few feet away. She was always following me all around. If I ever just stopped and was just standing somewhere not physically doing anything she would whine and bark at me to pick her up. She was such a loving pal to me. She started having seizures about a year ago and we had them under control but one night when we went to sleep, and she was fine as always, I woke up in the morning and she had passed away very quietly in the night. What a shock and horrible horrible thing to happen, so unexpectedly. Broke my heart. Me and Soxie still miss her so very much. I still feel she is with me sometimes. She is being closer to me now more than ever before of course. it God bless my little Angel Pie... the sweetest little girl. to see more of Cassie and her little sister go to see more of me and my sister go to www.webshots.com and in the SEARCH box put Papillon Cassie Sue
