Well today it is my Gotcha Day. Time has really gone by fast. I can't believe it has been three years since my family said that I was going to stay with them forever instead of just being their foster dog. It is do nice to have a mom, dad (mom's bf) and kids to play with everyday. I even have a dog sister that I don't mind too much even though she gets on my nerves some days, but she like to cuddle and as long as she doesn't lay on me I don't mind.

Life is so good. So what if I can't go to the places that Vivy gets to go, my family doesn't mind that I am a handful when meeting new people and that I can't be around other dogs. They love me for who I am and just help me to make sure that I am not pushed out of my comfort zone.

Hi folks and pups. Mom thought she would let me tell you all how I became a member of my forever family.

My family really doesn't know the whole story of the first part of my life. All they know is that I got loose and was hit by a car. I was one lucky pup because my worst injury was a dislocated hip. I was helped back to heath by a humane society and when my owners were found they refused to pay for my medical care and I was left at the shelter. This is when things changed for me.

A very nice rescue was called and they were able to find a very nice foster home for me. I did get adopted while in that home but I was bad and bit someone in my new home and was returned to foster care once again. Mom isn't sure what happened in my new foster home but I was with lots of other dogs and in more of a kennel than a home. My now new Auntie was able to take to an event she was going to one weekend and picked me up. I was only suppose to be with her or my now mom for a week until I was going to go back to the foster home. Well when it was time for me to go back the lady didn't answer her phone after many tires. The rescue then asked my now mom if she would foster me instead since I was already here. Thankfully mom was more than happy to help me until I found a forever home. It wasn't long before I was back to my biting ways and mom almost had to have me placed in another home because there was a little kid in the house. But she choose to keep working with me. But sadly because I was biting the rescue had to put me on the not adoptable list until I changed my ways. Mom and the family worked really hard with me for months. After 4 long months they called made the call that would change my life forever. They just couldn't let me go after bonding with me and all the hard work we did together.

My life is now spent getting cuddles, playing ball, swimming in the canal and just being a loving pup. My family understands that I will always be considered an aggressive dog. They always make sure that when I meet new people that they take their time greeting me. I may never do the things my pal and dog sis does or go the places she does. But they are happy to love me the way I am.
