I MISS MOM AND KODI-O BUT I HAVE NO MORE SICKNESS AND CAN ROMP AND PLAY LIKE WHEN I WAS YOUNG.

Robbi Birthday August 29 2009

Robbi was such a sweet loving little maltese and he just loved life. The last month he had been starting to have seizures and we took him to Vet. They checked him out and ran tests and said he was fine and that he might have thymus gland problem and that it was not seizures, to give him molasses. This was not his regular vet.

He seemed to get worst and mom called them on phone and said that she needed to bring him in that he was falling and stumbling and acting like he had more seizures. the vet said to wait and to continue with the dog food she sent home and that they did not see anything wrong his heart which was not good years ago now was perfect.

Robbi was just laying around but tried to be a trouper and continued his walks around the patio and laid watching the birds. Mom was a wreck she knew that something was wrong and the vet said to just wait it out, maybe run another thymus test or diabetes test.

Mom was starting to get angry and said that he seemed like he was slowly deteriorating and the vet said he is in good health bring him in next week if it continues and will run some tests.

My birthday came and went and Robbi slowly seemed to just want to lay around the week before his on moms lap. Saturday the 28th he started to have one seizure and not eat so we decided to take him back to vets no matter what they said on phone.

Mom stayed up for three days holding him on her lap and me beside them on chair. Mom did not do anything for almost a month babying him and taking care of our little Robbi.

Finally on his birthday august 29th 2009. Robbi had several seizures and his legs would not work and he would not eat at all just drink.
He looked at mom and me with his little black eyes and said Can I go?
We did not want to let him we missed him already but we did not want to let this go on and make him suffer. About 4:30 he had two seizures and then took a breathe while mom held him and looked at us to say goodbye i am going to a better place with my brother Cody and Bun-Bun. Mom said goodbye and held him for hours on her lap and then we both cried and said he is gone now but not forgotten.

Little Robbi-Do

This has been a bad month for me. I was falling down when I stood up my right leg would not hold me up. Mommys friend Sandy was so worried about me that she sent us the Doctor Spray from t.v. and it almost instantly worked. I could not believe it. I even started to walk around and go out on patio and check the birdies out.

Then last week i started to have seizures, mom called the vet and they took me immediately. They said all poor Robbi he is so cute. All the nurses came running when i got there. So many cuties.
The doctor took mom to waiting room and immediately put an iv into my little arem. I am now done to 3 lbs. They gave me two shots in the back of my neck.

We were afraid i was going to be going to Doggie Heaven, but vet said it was low blood sugar and gave me tiny pills to take and new dog food.
She said if i am not any better by next week she will have to make a decision on my health.

Mom was so sad and so is kodi-0.
They realize that my quality of living last couple of months is not too great and they don;t want me to suffer.
But mom will be lost without me.
She is praying that the medicine will work.
Keep us in your prayers.
My birthday is on Aug. 29th i will be 75 in dog years.

HELLO EVERYONE;
THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE KIND THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
MOMMY IS STILL TAKING THE BEST CARE OF ME, WHEN I WHIMPER SHE COMES RUNNING AND SOMETIMES I JUST DO IT TO SEE WHAT SHE DOES , ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE IS UPSTAIRS. HA

I LOVE HER TO DEATH, WE GOT A BATHE LAST NIGHT OR SHOULD I SAY SPA TIME, AFTERWARDS NICE RUB DOWN AND A LIGHT SPLASH OF DOGGIE COLOGNE.

MOM BOUGHT LITTLE BABY BANKLETS AND THEY FIT ME JUST RIGHT AND SINCE I AM SLEEPING ALOT LATELY I SNUGGLE RIGHT IN. THE DOCTOR SAID THAT MY CUSHING DISEASE MEDICINE IS MAYBE TOO MUCH NOW AND THAT SINCE I AM DOWN TO 3 1/2 LBS. WE NEED TO DO A TEST AGAIN TO SEE IF THAT IS WHAT HE PROBLEM IS.

WHEN WE STOPPED TO TALK TO DOCTOR ALL THE NURSES MAKE SUCH A FUSS OVER ME OH TO BE LITTLE, ALL THOSE BIG DOGGIES GET SO JEALOUS BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE CARRIED AROUND LIKE I CAN. THE ADVANTAGE OF A SMALL DOG.

ONE DAY MOM HAD ME IN A LITTLE BACKPACK WITH A BLANKET AND WE WERE WALKING KODI HA HA , AND A LADY CAME UP TO US AND SAID OH LET ME SEE YOUR BABY , SO MOM PULLED THE COVER DOWN .. THE LADY THOUGHT I WAS A REAL BABY WAS SHE SURPRISED.

WELL WE HAVE TO GO NOW IT IS THE WEEKEND AND MOM IS TIRED SHE HAD THE FLU BUG AND THEN GOT A COLD ON TOP OF IT. WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF HER NOW.
HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE.

KODI-O'S BOO BOO

POOR KODI-O STILL TAKING ALL THIS MEDICINE FOR HIS SORE TAIL. HE IS SO FUNNY WHEN MOM GIVES HIM THE MEDICINE HE IS RUNNING AROUND AND DOING THE BICHON BLITZ AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE FLOPS AND JUST PLAYS DEAD AND MOM PICKS HIS LEGS UP AND THEY JUST FALL DOWN.

HE IS OUT LIKE A LIGHT OR CLOSE TO IT. HE IS SUCH A BIG BABY AT LEAST HE STOPPED WHINING ALL NIGHT AND I CAN TAKE THE EAR PLUGS OUT. MOM SAID MAYBE WE CAN GET SOME SLEEP NOW SINCE HE SEEMS TO HAVE CALMED DOWN A BIT.

THE CUTE VET HAS TO LOOK AT HIS TAIL AGAIN ON WED. I THINK HE MIGHT BE ALRIGHT TODAY I SAW HIM HE THOUGHT THAT NOONE WAS LOOKING AND HE WAS JUMPING UP AT THE BIRDS.

HE SEEMS TO BE SHOWING OFF AGAIN SOMETHING HE IS REALLY GOOD AT HE GOES TO ONE END OF THE YARD AND BARKS AT GINGER A HALF COLLIE AND THEN TO THE OTHER SIDE AND BARKS AT THE NEW MALE PUPPY AND THEN RUNS AROUND IN CIRCLES SO I THINK HE IS BETTER. THE COLOR IS COMING BACK IN THE TAIL THE VET THINKS HE CAUGHT IT IN THE TIN ON THE GATE AND THE GATE CLOSED ON IT PINCHING IT.
THAT WILL TEACH HIM TO SQUEEZE THROUGH IT TO SIGHTSEE.

HE NEEDS A GOOD LONG WALK AND THAT WILL TIRE HIM OUT. MOM GAVE HIM A SILLY HAIRCUT WAIT TILL THE VET SEES HIM HOPE THEY DO NOT LAUGH SHE COULD NOT GET HIM BRUSHED WHEN HE WAS HURT AND HE GOT ALOT OF KNOTS SO SHE CUT HIM SHORT HE LOOKS FUNNY, I TURN MY HEAD WHEN HE PASSES BY ME.

SHUCKS SHOULD HAVE KEPT MY LAUGHING TO MYSELF. MOM GAVE ME A HAIRCUT AND IT LOOKS JUST AS SILLY I AM FREEZING NOW , AND SHE SPIKED MY HAIR ON TOP SHE ALWAYS DOES THAT.

WELL GOT TO GO FOR NOW WED WILL LET US KNOW ABOUT THE RENEGRADE.

POOR KODI-BOY

I GUESS YOU READ ABOUT MY BROTHERS TAIL EXPERIENCE IN THE GATE ON THE PORCH. WELL I AM SURE THAT HE IS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT AND MOM SAID HE BETTER NOT DO IT AGAIN.

ANYWAY, HE LOOKED SO FUNNY WITH HIS TAIL WRAPPED UP IN A BIG BANDAGE AND SO I SIGNED MY NAME ON IT LIKE WE DID IN SCHOOL WHEN SOMEONE HAD A CAST ON. HE REALLY LIKED THAT AND MOMMY SIGNED HER NAME TOO.

HE IS SUCH A SHOW OFF AT TIMES.

HE COULD NOT ROLL ME AROUND ON THE FLOOR LIKE USUAL BECAUSE OF HIS BANDAGE AND I WAS GLAD SOMETIMES HE IS SUCH A PEST. HE WAITS TILL I AM SLEEPING AND DREAMING OF A CUTE FEAMLE MALTESE I SAW ON THE AKC DOG SHOW, AND HE HAS TO INTERRUPT MY DREAM.

WELL NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT TILL DOCTOR DECIDES WHAT TO DO WITH POOR KODIS TAIL.

I HOPE HE GETS BETTER I LOVE HIM REALLY WOULD MISS HIM TEASING ME AND WHEN I AM COLD HE CUDDLES ME AND LAYS UP CLOSE TO KEEP ME WARM.

AT FIRST I DID NOT KNOW IF WE WOULD GET ALONG HE IS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN THE LADY SAID HE WOULD BE AND MY OTHER CODY WAS JUST TINY AND THEN WHEN THIS GUY KEPT GROWING AND GROWING I SAID HOLD IT.

I COULD RIDE HIM LIKE A HORSE AT TIMES BUT CANNOT GET UP ON HIM UNLESS MOM PUTS ME THERE.
ONE PICTURE ON THE SITE IS ME ON HIS BACK I LOOK LIKE LITTLE FLEA.
WELL GOT TO GO MOMS OPENING THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR AND I DO NOT WANT TO MISS ANYTHING BEING PASSED OUT. I HEAR THAT NOISE IN MY SLEEP.

Wow! Diary Entry Winner 9/3/2008

Thanks, to all you woof woof friends , and a special woof woof to picking me for diary entree of the day. It was a honour. I appreciate all who write to me. I have been taking advantage of the big Birthday deal you know trying to get special attention and practiacally standing on my head to get everyone to say.It is my day.

I got ice cream no cake( mommy doesn:t want me to get fat like the previous owners did. I love vanilla ice cream dixie cups and mommy put a pretzel stick on top. Of course I did not have to blow it out now.

It was the thought that counted.
I am so happy now that the weather has cooled down I can sit on the patio most of the evening, letting the wind in my hair and watching mom siting on her lounge chair sipping a cool drink and reading a good book she never tells me the ending of the stories though she gets me all enthusiastic and then keeps the good parts to herself.
One of these days I am gonna jump up on that lounge chair and page through her book.

Well rain all week here in Pa. kids you will have to find something to do inside .
I will catch up later.

Birthday Wishes 8/30

Thanks and woof woof to you wonderful friends that gave me birthday wishes. Mommy bought me a toy and gave me a new special spritz cologne for any interested females.
Thanks to all my new pup pals too. Love you all. Looking for pictures to put on. Maybe I can find one in my birthday suit. (Ha Ha)

KODIS"S BIRTHDAY

Tomorrow is Kodio's Birthday and I guess I might as well go hide somewhere, he will be blitzing and carrying on all day about me me me.
He is such a show off at times, I let him think I do not see him or I try to turn my head but really he is so protective of me with people, especially kids and I really do love him( We cannot let him know)

Sometimes I get jealous of him because one of mommys friends come and they knew me first and they make a fuss over him and I then have to bark and bark and sometimes try a little growl to get her to pay attention to me.

He doesn"t know it but she said I am her first love , she went along with my mommy to help hold me when I was adopted .I was a champion, had so many trophies and awards. When mom and her friend came to pick me out of crowded household of 13 dogs and each had a little bed with our name on but you never got your own bed anyway.It was like the seven dwarfs and snow white, you never knew who was in it.

Oh back to how I got to live with mommy, my orignal owner didn"t want to breed or show dogs anymore and was looking for someone to
give a couple of us a good home. I saw them coming and I did all kinds of tricks and played shy to make sure I was going home with them it tired me with 12 brother and sisters. I was overweight and needed priority one attention after all I had been Number 1 showdog.

Her friend immediately saw me and said get this one he is so cute look at him and of course mom Cydny wanted the one with the fluffy curls that took hours to do. But she went along with her friend Joni and they scooped me up and in the car I went.

I did not even have time for goodbyes I just wanted to go. Freedom and the whole way while mommy drove I was held by Joni and she actually said Your number 1 in my eyes. Everytime she comes to visit I hear the car and I run to the door and she still scoops me up and for that precious moment I remember her smell when she said take that one.
Well my old owner had me at 12 lbs. when my new mommy took me to vet she said oh my he is so overweight and mom and I stuck to a strick diet it was hard up and down we yo yo ed, till finally the doctors scale said 5lbs.

I was so happy they gave me stickers and a lollipop well not a real one and I felt like the champion again.

Anyway, before I forget it, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY KODI- O !!!!!!!!!
