Best Tricks: Being cute Arrival Story: My parents missed Kirby so much after she and I moved out of state, they looked around everywhere for a papillon of their own, one who would make them feel like Kirby's still there with them all the time. Papillons are just so hard to find, and one like Kirby is one in a million! We're talking tiny needle, huge haystack. I did what I could to help them find one. We looked into rescue groups, but kept getting turned down for the most inane reason. We looked into breeders, but they're either too far away or too expensive, or both. We looked at petfinder.com, but most just weren't enough like Kirby. Finally, I saw an ad for pappies in the Washington Post and called it. The place advertising said they didn't have any puppies right now, but would call when they did. They called within a few weeks, so I told them my dad just happened to be flying into the city that weekend to drive me back to Ohio for a few days. We stopped by on our way up to take a look at her. One look at that tiny little gorgeous face and I was smitten! When she picked up Kirby's leash in her mouth and started walking her around, it was a done deal. This baby was coming home with us! Happy belated Mother's Day, Mom! ;) Bio: Born to a pappy breeder in MO on April 21, 2008, then sent to Rockville, MD (just outside of Washington, DC) at the end of June 2008. and brought home to live in Bowling Green, OH, on July 3, 2008. What a journey! She's already shaping up to be one smart cookie. She reminds everyone so much of Kirby in so many ways! Too bad they can't see each other and play together every day. I'm so excited to finally be a part of dogster! After 2 weeks of hearing all my furblings chatting about their pages, I was feeling pretty left out. But, I've also been nursing a few illnesses, so I wasn't really feeling up to hopping online to put myself up here. I'm finally starting to feel a little better, so I figured I'd better jump on this bandwagon before it rolled away.
My name is Kenzi and I'm just a few days shy of being 3 months old. I was born to a breeder in MO (I think) and somehow ended up in Rockville, MD. From there, I was adopted by a very loving family in Ohio, where I've been living for all of 2 weeks now. (I officially became a pet 13 days ago, tomorrow will be day 14!) I'm so much more than a pet, though. I'm already loved like a child, just like the rest of my furblings. I'm still trying to sort out who's who, though. I mean, my first day home, I rode on April's lap all the way from MD to OH, and then played with Kirby (another pappy! wheeee!) all weekend. But, then Kirby and April left and I haven't seen them since. But, just a few days ago, a guy named Rob moved in. I guess he's lived there a while, but has been away for a while. It must have been a looooong while because Baby keeps acting like she hasn't seen him in forever. There's also an older boy named Toby, but he's always talking about moving out and buying a house, etc. So, who exactly lives here?! I'm so confused! I miss Kirby, too. Everyone keeps saying how much we look alike and act alike and have all the same mannerisms all the time. I'd love to have an older pappy's wisdom and guidance during these impressionable years. I really hope she visits soon, or I visit her. As soon as I'm 100% better, Mom and Dad and I are taking a road trip! Aroooooooo!
