I Play Kissy-Face with Daddy!

I think that I have taught Daddy the VALUE and IMPORTANCE of doggie kisses!

I am a BIG kisser, and I show how much I love my people by giving LOTS and LOTS of kisses!

The other night Daddy and I had been playing on the floor for quite awhile. It was FUN-FUN!

I came up to Daddy, and DADDY gave ME a big kiss! I tasted the big kiss....LICK!

Daddy gave me ANOTHER big kiss! I tasted THIS one, too!

Daddy gave me ANOTHER big kiss!

This time I tasted the kiss with a BIG LICK....SLURP!!!

Daddy kisses almost as good as I do!!!!

I Discover How Well My BIG GIRL Teeth Work

I was playing with NewSteve. I was having a REALLY good time squeeking the squeeker in his head and chewing him and shaking him. I really like NewSteve because he is BIGGER than OldSteve was, and when I shake him he REALLY MOVES a lot back and forth and back and forth...

UH-OH!!!!

I shook NewSteve REALLY HARD, and NewSteve's HEAD flew OFF! His head-squeeker flew across the room!

Poor NewSteve! He has NO HEAD now!

Poor Daddy! He walked into the room where NewSteve and I were playing and saw NewSteve's head on the floor...without his BODY!

Bye-Bye, NewSteve!

I hardly got to know ya!

I Play Balloon Volleyball With Daddy (and the Balloon)!

We were visiting Grandma and Grandpa last night. We played ball, Daddy showed Grandma and Grandpa a couple of my newest tricks, and I enjoyed playing with the new empty two-liter bottle Grandma had ready for me. I got a nice drink and was checking if there were any yummy crumbs in the kitchen.

Grandpa was telling Daddy about a dog that he saw on TV who was hitting a balloon to his Daddy, and the Daddy was hitting it back. They were having a very fun time.

Daddy asked if Grandma and Grandpa had a balloon so WE could try it.

Grandma had a BIG bag of little flat things that were all different colors. Daddy took one of the little flat things and started breathing into it. It turned into a really big ball. (I don't understand how that happened. I think it must have been MAGIC!)

He showed it to me and then threw it high up in the air. It came down like a leaf does! He did it again, and this time I tried to bite it. My mouth wasn't big enough to get around it. Instead, it bounced right off my NOSE!

It didn't hurt my nose AT ALL!

Daddy was all happy when the balloon bounced off my nose because when it DID bounce off, Daddy hit it with his hands and it bounced and came to ME!

We have a new game!

We played for awhile until I opened my mouth wider and the balloon hit one of my sharp BIG GIRL teeth ...(those really pointy ones that I have in the front).

BANG! There was a big sound, and my BIG BALLOON turned into a flat thing again...JUST LIKE THAT! (More magic?)

Daddy grabbed the flat pieces before I could taste them and check them out to see where my BIG BALLOON went. Daddy can be really quick sometimes!

Anyway, Fast Grandma got another flat thing out of the cupboard, and Daddy breathed in it and turned it into another BALLOON!

We played some more with this one as Grandma took some pictures. You can see us playing with the balloon if you look at our photos!

Daddy took the balloon with us so we could show Mommy our new game!

We had a very fun time playing Balloon Volleyball! I think we will do that again and again!

I Learn "Drop It!"

Mommy and Daddy have been looking at all my BIG GIRL teeth that have come IN, and they have been collecting all my puppy teeth that have come OUT.

I get my teeth brushed EVERY DAY.

Mommy and Daddy are having a MUCH harder time getting my tennis balls out of my mouth when we play catch.

It was time for me to learn: "DROP IT!"

I learned pretty fast! The reason is Daddy wouldn't KEEP playing tennis ball with me IF I DIDN'T drop the tennis ball!

Daddy is a teacher, so I guess he figured out how to do this pretty easily!

ANYWAY, I now drop the tennis ball when they say, "DROP IT!" I also do it when Grandma and Grandpa say it, because I want THEM to keep playing with me, too!

I'll do ANYTHING you want, guys! Just KEEP PLAYING TENNIS BALL WITH ME!!!

I Get a Break From Running

Mommy and Daddy are going for a long run today because they are in training for their next marathon. They will be running about 30 miles. That is WAY longer than I can run now, SO, I get a break today!

My plan:

1)Take a nice afternoon nap
2)Play with my toys
3)Go upstairs into the second bedroom and look out the big windows to see what' happening
4)Chew some plastic pop bottles
5) Have a nice nap to get ready for greeting Mommy and Daddy when they return from their run

Ahhhhh!

Rest Days are NICE!!!!

I Find Out That We Met the Goal for Casper!!!

Hey, EVERYONE!!!

The goal for Casper has been met!!!!

They even reached $50 OVER the goal!!

CASPER CAN GET HIS SURGERY!!!!

All extra money will be put in a fund so that OTHER doggies can get needed surgeries! Isn't that GREAT???!!!!

I Get an Update on Casper's Surgery

Casper will have his surgery on his little Pomeranian heart the last week of September or the first week of October!

I Eat My NAME Cookies at my Treat Bath

I was dirty-dirty when I came back from my hike! Mommy and Daddy said it was time to get another bath! Since I'm sleeping on THEIR big bed, I think they want to make sure that ALL of us are squeeky clean!

I remembered that the LAST time that I had a bath it was a TREAT BATH! Daddy fed me TREATS while Mommy was scrubbing me and getting me all clean. I was thinking that some TREATS sounded pretty good right about now!

Sure enough...

Daddy came into the bathroom with the S-A-P-H-I-R-A name cookies from my Half-Birthday! Ahhhhh! Daddy! You were reading my mind!

As Mommy was busy getting all of me all clean, Daddy was feeding me COOKIES!!!

Oh, YES! This was a very fine TREAT BATH!!!

I Go For My Six Month Check-Up

On Saturday I went for my check-up at the doctor's. I got some shots that doggies are supposed to get when they are six months old. I still don't understand "shots", but I guess they all know what they are doing there at the doctor's!

They weighed me there, too!

I now weigh 61.8 pounds! I am growing FAST!!!!

I Go On a Nighttime Run

We were having a fun time on our run. We were at the Girdled Road place where there are all of these neat trails.

It was getting darker and darker.

I still could see, but it felt a lot different running when there wasn't as much light.

We kept running. It was nice and cool and DARK!

It is fun running at night!
