OL DOG ANGEL DIARY: TIME FLIES

Well 2 weeks ago today I made my last visit to the nursing home. 2 weeks ago today Mom sat up with me half the night while I was in pain. 2 weeks ago today Mom fed me pancakes from the table. Bridgey is taking up my habit of hanging out in the corner of the yard by the field, under the Cedar trees. Talley is getting bold and has growled at Bridgey a few times without me to act as a buffer. How I do miss them all. Life at the Bridge is good and I am fitting in just fine though. Although I do seem to fly down and spend more time at all my groups like before, finding comfort in that. Mom is so much better, just the occasional tears. She has a lot of love to give, and opens up her heart to each and every doggy she works with. It is so healing to go on and love other dogs. I am happy to see her doing this. A good friend of hers gave her a beautiful stone she is using as a memorial in the back yard, here is a pic of it.

We has lost many furriends: recently Bullboy, Duncan, Rebel and Sheba. I have posted on Rainbow Bridge to some other Moms looking for relief from the pain they were feeling and it seems to help them to come to the Bridge to talk about what they are going through. It is something they all have in common.

Talley and Bridgey are Moms working dogs now. They will learn what they need to do. Both of em are good labbie girls and they love Mom a lot. I was the 100% reliable dog Mom counted on over the years though, but those girls is going to do just fine. They is smart and Mom will be just fine with them. I have been watching and see them working and helping Mom a lot.They helped at the kennel today with the bullydog she is working with. What good gals they were as well on a off leash walk along the forest and streams. I was flying over. Mom remains committed to positive dog training methods and always will be. She talks about that a lot in the groups we go to. Mom has been really busy which is another reason we has not been around so much too.

I am still helping with the RACHEL RAY FOOD RASING CAMPAIGN. If you is not aware of this go to www.dogvice.com, all help is welcome to help raise food for hungry dogs. Anyfur can help. Today I posted on the PDPC group to see if we could get some help there. Dogster HQ has been kind enough to advertise the campaign for us as well on the main page. Some of us wrote to HQ asking about the possibility, but I think it was our furriend Gigi calling in the got the job done. We sure do thankyou at P*I*F, Dogster HQ. It has been really exciting to see all our furriends faces on dogvice and dogfessions. Mom has to get some more cards made before the CAmpaign is over; many of ours did get on the site ,they were all of dogs from years past. She would like to see my face on there, I know that.

I guess that is all the new for now. Oh, my new pic with Bunkie is compliments of dear furriend Poana SDIT from DC, whom I had not heard from in some time. She also sent a nice message with some angel wings. Once again, thanks to you all, we read every kind message and love you all. BB and family.
